@FiniteByDesign, do you plan on making stuff like 100-500 CGB bricks?

And we really need to get on the chinese exchanges, how's that going? Any progress?

No plans for larger quantity bullion bars at the moment but I could see this as a possibility in Q1 of 2014. Problem is that I personally view the prospected price point of CGB to parody ProtoShare pricing sooner rather than later. This of course would make the higher quantity bullion bars more lop-sided when comparing crypto value to precious metal value. To better balance this I would look into upping the physical size and possibly the metal make-up.

I don't really know how we could contact them.

I already emailed them...they have QQ email info at the bottom of their site.  They are extremely busy with customer support emails from their users.

Note, btc38 is fueled by speculators and wild price changes.  Just look at MEC, in the last four days it reached over 18 CNY to a low of 5 CNY today (72% loss), settling at around 8 CNY currently.

I'd be excited to see CB trading on btc38, but there are positives to not being traded on there as well.  CB needs stable and steady adoption, not wild price swings that can scare away legitimate business usage.

I'm working on getting CB on more exchanges, but that's just my two satoshi...

Quite happy for CB to be just as it is for the moment, CB seems to be steering clear of the storm that has been sweeping the alts over the past week or so. And I'm glad to see a steady rise. Some newcomers, caught up in the frenzy of the past week are going to be cast high on the waves this storm is creating among the alts, and with no knowledge heeded about each coin I can see them left stranded, abandoned and deserted. In dismay. As the laughing pirate who sold them their bounty run off to buy rum and whores with their pieces of eight.

Do I recognize a quote here?  Cheesy

Well I was trying to get myself onto btc38 just for the heck of it and guessed my way through the chinese characters until I came to the following message (google traslated and surprisingly understandable):

Quote
Announcement of a moratorium on new user registration sorry, a bit excessive Times recently businesses, our services have been unable to support such a massive frame users, day and night, even though we have to work overtime to handle user problems can not be solved in time massive problem. Our tough decisions, Nov. 29 - the date between the 12th five suspended new user registration feature within this period, we will strengthen the power of their team as soon as possible, in order to better serve everyone if we supplement enough team members, we will resume early registration. While we continue to suspend recharge in the past month, stop promoting, increasing staff, increasing the server, but daily users increased by 30% growth rate really feel Han Li. We hope to become China's largest cottage currency trading platform, but the excessive rate of growth, reputation make us the platform, service, reputation, safety in grave danger. Our staff have been 19 consecutive days without a holiday, every day 0:00 to work, many employees have also said that if the pressure is so big, it can only leave it. This makes the management of our company is facing the dual pressures inside and outside the one hand, we know that we are sorry users, on the other persecuted groups but conscienceless overtime day and night, we felt very sad. We know, perhaps you now want to register an account very capable, but it might make our customer service staff can sleep time and five minutes less, they only 6-7 hours a day commuting time now. Very sorry. We recognize that we can not resist a few times a month of growth, the lack of our ability, we can only sense of shame and then courage, follow-up and then force. Many thanks to old and new users in the QQ group, the Forum for their support and also thank you to our criticism. We believe that after a short rest and adjust after a few days, we can build better systems to better serve you faster towards the "first Chinese copycat currency trading platform forward." After December 5, see our glory. Bit era founder Huang Tianwei 2013-11-29

So that certainly seems to confirm what they told merc. While I agree that it is a good thing for cgb to be steering away from all the wild speculation so far, the chinese market of course is still important and unavoidable. I really hope that by the time btc38 gets themselves settled and accepts cgb, the market will have become a bit more mature, the people more cautious, avoiding at least some of the wild speculation. The large new chinese userbase can only be good when they start adopting cgb for the long term. The more the merrier I say, so keep those translations coming merc!    Grin

Hi MercSuey,
Love the fact that the site is now multilingual!
However, as a native English/Swedish speaker I must inform you that the Swedish translation appears to be a Google-translation at best, or just painfully incorrect at worst. It is so bad that you might want to consider having the Swedish part offline until it is rewritten.

If needed, I could try to find time to help out, but I can only put in a little time here and there. Too much to do between family, work and rebuilding our house. That said, let me know if I can help the CGB community!

Yeah, Swedish was a mess because I couldn't find the files and some went missing.  I will find someone to fix it, but if you want to give it a try then by all means, go ahead.  Thanks for the heads up!

With this kind of german translation no one will take this seriously.
It is obviously a machine translation.

Russian translation on the way soon...but if any native Russian speakers would volunteer proof-reading the translation before it goes live, then it'd be appreciated.
