I don't think we can come up with 25 BTC, and if we could there are way better investments to make for CGB. 6 BTC would take us to the top 10 of Mintpal votings.
But even better just general marketing efforts, give-aways, bounties, creation of contests, production of articles, graphics etc.

Contest wrapping up today guys! Another entry submitted on Reddit by flagin

Quote
Cryptogenic Bullion is one of the few special altcoins in the cryptouniverse. Notable ones include litecoin, ripples, nxt, dogecoin and the mother of them all is Bitcoin. A few with special attributes include namecoin, anoncoin, primecoin , mastercoin and Cryptogenic bullion, CGB. CGB is conceived as a buy-and-hold cryptocurrency, CGB will actually pay you interest (1.5 percent a year) if you keep the coins in your CBG wallet. As institutional investors move into alternate currencies, they could bid up the price for CBG. The quantity of coins is low but not too low, a total of about 1million coins. Crytocurrency in general and CGB in particular is a response to the recklessness of centralized economic authourities in displacing the wealth of the salient majority and transferring them to oligarch and plutocrats. CGB seeks to correct this anomaly and redistribute wealth evenly again . It does this by its decentralized systems and protocol with the openness for inclusive participation. In the nearest future , Crytocurrencies will play a huge and important role in major segments of the economy and barring Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripples and dogecoin , and new system like NXT, etherium , mastercoin and colored coins, the next greatest coins include CGB. As more people adopt these coins, merchants, processors and consumers inclusive, with light touch regulations to provide guidance and direction, increasing number and value of transactions thereby improving the marginal stability and attractiveness of the ecosystem. Stability brings measurement and forecast planning which attracts investors and traders. The infusion of wall streets fund into CGB will make price of bitcoin in november of 2013 seem a meagre investment choice. I say this because of the unique features of CGB such as it limited quantity with an inflationary bent , annual interest earned (few coins have that), POS/POW hybrid, faster confirmations dedicated and active development team and community. With the recent temporary downturn in the cryptomarket now , i suggest it is the best time to buy.

The CGB team will review the entries and the feedback from the community and decide the winners early next week (week of April 28th). Great work!

How is CGB price doing these days?  I have 1.1CGB, don't think it's worth too much but figured no harm in asking Smiley

Wasn't there some funniness with the website recently?  Did you guys get that resolved?

Current price on cryptsy is 0.81 mBTC per CGB. Hopefully the price can start to pick up. I remember the days of 500 mBTC, though they seem far distant for the time being.

Cast a few votes on https://comkort.com/vote and we'll see if the prices can climb a little Smiley

CGB Core Team Weekly Update – April 23, 2014

Please also see the Reddit post for further discussion.

The purpose of these weekly updates has until now been primarily to report the recent changes and accomplishments within the CGB Core Team and the the CGB crypto-currency itself. We are going to expand this a little bit as our community and foundations have gone through a rapid transformation. The amount of community participation has been seeing a very positive increase. Since the new Core Team formed at the beginning of March, we have encouraged an open model of community collaboration. The title “Core Team” is meant to imply that active community participants are also part of the team and deserve the same resources and higher level information as the Core Team. This weekly post will attempt to serve as a channel for this information, with links and details of developments which the CGB Core Team agrees are most relevant to advancing CGB as a global crypto-currency.

In order to highlight the recent work within our community we would like to thank spac3_invad3r for continuing to manage the CGB Website Translation Effort. All community members who are able to speak multiple languages are encouraged to help out! Thanks to xeroc for bringing an interesting development possibility regarding Lamport signatures to discussion on Reddit. We were also grateful to have active discussion from community members like 110110101 and 66ericarthurblair99 regarding CGBs place in new crypto developments like profit-spending multipools. BTCat also deserves credit for promoting CGB and making consistent quality posts to our BitcoinTalk Forum community. Be sure to vote or comment to support your choice for winner of the CGB News Beat contest. There are also shirts to be won thanks to FiniteByDesign's Guerrilla Marketing Giveaway Contest. Also check out #cgb on chat.freenode.net for general CGB chat, we have decided to begin using IRC as it's a great tool for open collaboration.

With this all out of the way, we finally have one piece of exciting news to reveal. A member of our community by the name of Matheltu1 has offered his abilities in marketing to the CGB Core Team. It is with the release of this week's CGB Core Team Update that we announce his addition to the Core Team. Matheltu1 is currently working on a Bachelor of Science, and hopes to put his keen business senses to use by developing and implementing innovative new marketing techniques to help bring CGB to the masses. On behalf of the CGB Core Team we are greatly excited to see such participation in the project and welcome our newest member.

CGB Core Team Weekly Update – April 23, 2014
.....

.......

I thought the post seemed familiar Wink https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245086.msg6142921#msg6142921

PSD, in general, what seems to give the larger benefit to the CGB community in terms of exposure (posting questions, articles, news and the like). In terms of branding, is it wiser to be more active on Reddit and/or the Bitcointalk forum. I mean, most people here are well aware of cryptocurrencies, but are we targeting a larger following on Reddit as to bring in more supporters/investors? These forums are perhaps more "entrenched" meaning that holders and investors are not too likely to change from their alts of choice, and are more likely to further promote and encourage their investments. Granted I have not been too active on the CGB subreddit, but if we are to help improve the project, how may we best use our time and resources?

I appreciate your efforts, keep up your great work!

Givin' credit where its due! Post updated Smiley BCT Forums are a huge resource of crypto-community members. I think its very valuable to try and target them as much as possible, however, Reddit seems to be much better for organizing large numbers of people. Reddit is really a great tool for this and its popularity amongst the younger generation is just an added bonus. Getting out on Reddit and finding discussion to participate in is a great start. We will be developing more specifics as we go along. Thanks for the support!

How may we best use our time and resources?

List of ongoing CGB marketing. Any effort is much appreciated and will add value to your coins.

Create exposure to CGB.

- research merchants and services for CGB adoption/implementation. Contact them to catch their interest.
- post CGB comments on any threads of bitcointalk and Reddit.
- create and edit wikipedia pages where relevant. Keywords: cryptocurrency, investopedia, wallstreet, etc.
- comment on articles, (investment, crypto) forums anywhere on the internet, mention CGB with sitelink (not in a spammy way)
- write on your blog about CGB, chart analyses, coin reviews
- social media, twitter, facebook, Qzone and Sina Weibo (chinese), LinkedIn, etc. mention CGB with link
- chat about CGB on chatbox/trollbox, btc-e, cryptsy, etc.
- create a video or infographic: how-to buy and use CGB, benefits, opportunity
- setup or propose a marketingstunt
- create and sell CGB related merchandise
- vote for CGB to add to exchanges. (current: https://comkort.com/vote https://www.mintpal.com/voting https://coinano.com/vote)
- contact Max Keiser and make him talk about CGB on his show (or any other broadcast)

If anyone has suggestions to add to this I will update regularly.  Cheesy

15-17 May is Bitcoin Conference in Amsterdam. All the heavy weights of the global cryptoworld will be there. If anyone has a ticket we can arrange a T-shirt, or something better.
Ofcourse this can be valid for any Bitcoin meetup.
