Somehow Jobs do not pay me anymore.
Not sure since when, Jobs pay so little that I hardly care, I usually just do them to complete the 15 daily tasks or if I have too much energy and donno what else to use it for.
Might be for a long time already, maybe even several months, maybe ever since I reached level 21.
Anyway, I noticed, whether for 1 minute or 210 minutes, whether Crystals or Cryptocoinz or Satoshi or Litoshi, whether I hit a bonus or a scam or nothing, what I get is just a different amount of XP, but nothing else.

https://ibb.co/BN8jR6z
Hm, that's strange as nothing has changed regarding jobs since a while. I will check that thanks!

I believe I figured it out.
It's connected to one of the ads on the page, not sure which one.
If the ad doesn't load, because the website it comes from is down or lagging or whatever, the job doesn't pay.
I noticed today that I had just two red frames instead of the ads at the top and bottom of the screen when the job didn't pay, while the next job where there were ads to see did pay.

Maybe it's just a display issue (page rendering). I'm not sure jamboom would make an ad display to have an impact on backend (database) functionality ...

Well, today I even found a workaround for the problem.
I just look at the jobs page and if there is no ad at the bottom, I refresh the page until an ad appears.
It's a pain, but that way the jobs always pay.

Well, over the last days the site got slower and slower, where all these waiting times gave me the time to think about why that is.
(You may know, I'm a coder myself, even though I code in C++, but the problem in network applications that include a server is about the same.)
I might be completely wrong about this, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I have a pretty strong feeling about it.

The site has always been slow at times, always for the exact same reason, where @jamboom has tried anything he could imagine to speed things up, but never got to the actual problem.
The problem is that in the order the content of pages loads the ads have a higher priority than some other parts of the site, meaning the header and some basics will load, but then the rest of a page will wait until the ads have loaded before the page fully loads.
This obviously means that whenever an ad comes from an unstable, slow site, the whole CMG site will lag big time, simply because every single click anywhere will always again wait for that lagging ad.

One attempt to speed thing up was to outsource some processing power from the server to the users.
While that's in principle a good idea, every coder knows that such an attempt will bring a gigantic headache along, because data between server and client runs out of sync.
At CMG we have seen that for example in form of ghost players showing several dozen times the same player in different fields and recently it has the effect that once in a while one can launch a few missions, then click on some other page of the site, where the energy just spent will reappear so one can go back to missions and launch some more.
Usually the required processing power for all the action to get data back in sync is greater than the processing power saved with the outsourcing, meaning one ends up with a slower program rather than faster.
At CMG we see that in form of double, triple and even quadruple page refreshes and update of player data in the map, whenever one switches to a different browser tab and back for half a second, where for that switch away and back ANY other website wouldn't do anything at all, CMG completely reloads the page and resyncs data, even without switching to another tab, when in the map and clicking on any other page, it will first reload and resync the map page just to then switch away from it.
This becomes really hilarious, for example when the sync kicks in while one is moving the map with CTRL + mouse, because then the mouse pointer gets caught in scrolling the map and doesn't release, even after the sync is done, only way to get the mouse back is press F5 for a page refresh, now what does the page do, right after it has synced and before it executes the page refresh? You guessed it, it refreshes the page and resyncs, just to then execute the F5 which means to refresh and resync the page AGAIN.

I'm surely not the only user claiming from a dozen different faucets, permanently switching between tabs, causing the CMG page to reload and resync in my browser up to 30 times a minute (if the page were that fast), multiply that by the amount of active users there are and add the fact that the actual problem (a lagging ad) isn't even addressed and you know why the CMG site is so slow these days.

Again, I might be wrong here, but if I'm remotely right, then how about loading ads on pages LAST, so that the pages are operational even if an ad doesn't load?
All the effords of outsourcing or other ways to speed things up will definitely turn out to be unneccessary and the site would be MUCH faster than it is once the actual problem is solved.

Just a quick question for the traders: Since prices for about anything are rapidly collapsing, what's the latest value of things?

Crystals can't even be sold for 1 sat per 150 Crystals anymore.
Cards seem to fetch less than 1/2 a sat per star on the card.
Cryptocoinz I'm not even putting on sale anymore, they are worth less than the electricity costs for the time it takes to put them on sale.
Hackingeys used to be an easy sell at 5 sat per key, now you can't sell them at all anymore, no matter how low the price.

CGT is ....... well I have no words, it costs 0.2CGT to buy 25 gold cards from the shop which then can be sold in the market for about 40 sat, meaning 1CGT is worth roughly 200 sat, where 15,000HP (plus 20+% bonus) will mine a CGT value corresponding to 300 sat a month while the first 1,000HP (plus bonus) will mine almost 5,000 sat a month, a 1:250 mismatch.

I don't look or rate any offers into the market anymore,
friends or multiply accounts are rating idiot offers as good and Jamboom don't change that, so i also don't know what the averages prices are into the market.

About CGT ... i wrote a vew months ago CGT should be worth around 10 cents calculated what prices JB keep into his shop, a lot members told me i could not calculate that this way, so ... 12 cents worth only when we join another wallet, i have my own wallets and shall not join another wallet .. JB may keep that 10 CGT for joining (elite members now, non-elite members from next week)
You need at least 100 CGT on that wallet to exchange them to BTC and make a withdrawl.

I use that CGT to buy cards or crates into the shop, already have 16,500 + HP

And still there's no ingame-bonus for the Bitcoin cards, i have already 3,000 of them.

What was the plan for the Bitcoin cards anyway? I couldn't find any information. Is it worth upgrading them or better to wait?

That Bitcoin card is worth NOTHING in the game itself ... only the ingame_bonus should be worth something,
so ... don't upgrade that card now till there's an ingame_bonus

Jamboom, when we receive any information about CGT ? There was a several calculations I would really like to see your calculation.   Undecided Huh

No need asking him, just have a look into the shop.
55,000 Crystals cost 106,810 sat or 10 CGT, meaning by Jamboom's calculation 1 CGT should be worth 10,681 sat or roughly $1.

By my calculation (as in what you can get out of 1CGT today through the detour of buying cards for CGT from the shop and sell the cards in the market) 1 CGT is worth roughly 250 sat or just over $0.02.
Just another case where jamboom's calculations are off by a factor of 500.

Guy's, wait a vew days  about CGT,
all elite members already have the change to open a new wallet on a company and get 10 CGT as bonus for that ... worth $1.20 at this time
This week ALL members get an message about that.

I just looked about that and my conclusion when you're not a walllet-owner already there, You need about 100 CGT to exchange it to BTC on that wallet to get a payout in BTC to your own wallet.
I decide not to open that wallet account and getting 10 CGT bonus as a elite member, when i look into the past, affiliates get much more than $1.20 worth in BTC to open such wallet-accounts ... i already have 3 wallet accounts by other companies.

Anyway, everybody must see what they will do.... CGT is worth $0.12 at this moment.

Something not working in the new workshop.
While "drone storage upgrade" works fine, the other two get stuck at the green button saying "complete upgrade".
When you click that button you get the overview window that at the bottom still says "upgrade in progress", but never finishes the upgrade.

Edit: After a while, way longer than the time announced for the upgrade, the page refreshes and then the upgrades can be completed.

Having to recycle every single piece one by one is beyond annoying.
How about a button "recycle everything"?

Furthermore there appears to be a big lack of glass and way too much metal.

Another bug: When having 2 cables and using them to upgrade drone storage to level 2, the item cable remains in the list with value 0, clicking the item will recycle 1 item of cable, then showing -1 before the item disappears from the list.

Last but not least, a successful mission to an empty field doesn't count as a completed mission in the daily goals.

@jamboom
Since one can now withdraw CGT, why don't you add CGT to the market as well, so the users who do not have any ETH and therefore cannot trade any ERC20 tokens can get something out of their CGT as well?

Does this make sense to anyone?

Over 1,000 metal in stock, 100s of items that can be converted into even more metal, a little bit of plastic and hardly any glass to be found anywhere, while drone upgrades require more or less the same amount of glass and plastic as metal.

A good way to get items quickly is to send drones 2-3 squares away from you to empty slots that surround you. Once you do that move in any direction by about 5 squares and then do the same thing again.

Recycling glasses, watches and lightbulbs are good items to recycle for glass if you have a lot of them. Magnifiers and test tubes don’t seem to be too difficult to find and they tend to give you quite a lot of glass, especially Magnifiers. So whenever you find Magnifiers or at least a few test tubes and you need glass then go recycle them, but I do agree with you though. There needs to be more a lot more glass and probably a few more plastic items to find. Too many metal items, but more is better than less.
