Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.

Thing is, we need currency, we use currency everyday.
We don't need painkillers every day, and we don't use painkillers every day.

That is the difference.

It is something that matters.

On a side note, the government takes about 90% of my work in taxes. You understand how big intrusion into my life that is?

It is not only money invested but it takes up a lot of time and sometimes at the sacrifice of other things you could be doing, I know I am checking crypto prices more than 10 times a day.  It is definitely up there with gambling.

Yes! we can say bitcoin is like heroin or any kinds of addictive drug because being bitcoin user even I`m so tired in my hard work in the real would I`m still here and participating to earn money, but I am addicted in bitcoin because using bitcoin i earn money. Well it may be addictive but it's much healthier than taking hard drugs lol. I am wondering where we will be 5 years from now and if I am alive to see it at 57 years old by then, I would like to be totally retired, maybe just investing still in blockchain technology and posting on this forum. I wonder if we fast forward to that time we will be seeing maybe Bitcoin reach 100k USD. If I have 5 btc by then that won't be bad lol.

Bitcoin addiction is not too bad because it can push your limit to become better at crypto, trading and speculating Bitcoin got a high excitement so people can become addicted to it, usually the symptoms is keep on checking the price even though you don't have the coin

What do you mean by the statement that bitcoin is like heroin, do you mean it ability to get you addicted and always want to acquire more bitcoin.
If that  is what you mean by that statement you are right, but to my understanding every thing that has the ability to get you addicted is either in a positive or in negative impact and in the case of bitcoin is in the positive way because it get you addicted to wanting to acquire more wealth and improving you life and finances. So classifying bitcoin in the category of drugs is an analysis in a wrong dimension. Why not say bitcoin and Gold or real estate?

I disagree. It depends on everyone's personal. This is related to control psychology, if you can control yourself when in gambling or trading games, then you will not get stuck, whereas if you can't control it, then it's your own fault not bitcoins who like heroine as you said.

Well then i am not sure how i feel about comparing bitcoin or other crypto currencies to drug substances like heroin or crack. While it is true that people get a rush to trading or holding bitcoin.  The same could be said for fully regulated long established businesses like gambling or buying stocks on any exchange.

Atleast it is the same as bitcoin, we don't need to pay taxes.

Here you want directly say that bitcoin is bad like heroin , bitcoin is bad like Gambling , bitcoin is bad like bad things that have bad results . Here This guy is totally out of understanding about the bitcoin Because he is saying without evidence and without going through it .It seems that OP is having the bitcoin in his life full of loss Because of lack of understanding otherwise why he will talk about it in such a way .
Here OP needed to see what the profit and what is the advantages are associated with the bitcoin , Japan like big countries even accepted bitcoin as an legal way of payment , then ofcourse op is wrong at his place and bitcoin is more better and powerful to rise the economy of the countries who accepted it officially .

Like heroin BTC is good investment currently and you need to be cold-mind investor to earn more money with BTC however, I don't recomend to spend all fiat money for BTC

Well in terms of adiction or maybe effect to our self maybe it can be considered as heroin but in times of profit it really not like thta kind of heroin bitcoin cant really ruin someones life because bitcoin is just an asset about gaining and an extra work to have  an extra income while heroin can make your life mesirable like you want to die and you well really act like you are not human while in bitcoin as long as you help your self you also help others by introducing bitcoin blessing to them.
