I am not agree with the statement that It is like heroin because if you are addicted with heroin then it is harmful and illegal in the world but  in the case of bitcoin it is a helpful and hopeful currency. If we say that if you earn some amount of money in the form of bitcoin it is your cash you can use it for your needs. Some people are very much addicted with bitcoin like the traders they want to earn more and more in the crypto currency.

you are totally right. The reward of getting more money or winning more coin will eventually make you addicted . It's already happening to me , While i'm in class or outside i always find myself about bitcoin price,did it fall?,is there any new freelance work for me.... it's consuming all my toughts . but i wouldn't compare it to heroin because heroin will completly ruin yourlife and turn it upside down. Bitcoin is financially beneficial aside from the gambling method.

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.

I think this happens only with people who do not understand the technology of the blockchain and cryptocurrency. People who are just looking for easy money like in a casino.

Don't worry bitcoin is not the thing or its not something, it is what it is, an asset, a currency, a store value you name it but its best in all the forms. It won't end up bad at all I guess. In the third world people are getting blessed with bitcoin because they are having their local currency multiples like anything and they are loving it.

Even in the developed countries due to bitcoin's heavy success this month, the pockets are filled with crazy profits and everyone is going to enjoy the Christmas. There is addiction, yes might be but I believe it is the good one and thats just the passive income source for all of us. Bitcoin will last forever and you will have the great support in your finances with it. So just earn it.

I can relate to this in some way. I was so close to getting addicted to gambling when I tried doing a test-run on how it works. Honestly, I planned to gamble my bitcoin at some point when I am earning a decent amount of it because I've read somewhere that many bitcoin users earned a fortune through it. So, I thought that one day when I earned enough, I will try gambling for once. Then came on the day I tried bitcoin, and they offer free coins that you can bet on their games just so that you can have the feel of it. I tried to bet it to the games that I want to try and as I was doing it, I realized that spending my bitcoin here will only make me regret it later, so I never did try it on bitcoin.

I don't think it would go bad in the end as the addiction in bitcoins is not that bad as cocaine and heroin. If we can earn a good profit in bitcoins then i would say that the addiction is good. Also it depends on each individual that what kind of addiction does he want to intake.

If taken positively, bitcoins are a profitable addiction and has no side-effects on our physical body. Also we can earn a good amount of profits in bitcoins and each technology friendly individual will spend some of his time in bitcoins to have some good profit.

I know people are talking in hyperbole, but even then, no addiction is healthy no matter what we are talking about, some people are addicted to exercising and while that seems like a good thing they end up injuring all their bodies due to the amount of exercise they do everyday.

Bitcoin will make you addicted to profit, but in gambling whenever you put your money in, then you will lose a lot of money every time. But not with bitcoin, you will not lose your money like in a casino.

No its not like that, it isn't like gambling, heroin or cocain. People are very excited to earn and earn bitcoin because they see a good chance from bitcoin, I am sure that normal people are won't miss any good chance. They just take their advantage of become early bitcoin users in this early stage .
