The wallet is out of sync, installed it today but still no connections. I downloaded the woke.conf file and restarted the wallet. What to do?

On some newer versions of windows people can experience trouble finding connections, that config file is a bit outdated. I will make a new one now and should have the link updated within an hour. In the meantime the explorer has a network list of a few nodes that you could add yourself if you know how, you can also still participate in all of our activities without being synchronized!


In other News: The Monthly interest payments of 3% have been sent to the top 25 Address’s. Next payment date: March 3rd.

2 weeks ago I install new windows 10 Pro on a laptop..., to use it just for wallets and staking.., but unfortunately almost all the wallets aren't getting connections.., NVM what I'm doing they can't reach nodes by some reason...., 2 of the wallets which are TOR netw. based god connections, the rest can't, don't know why .., day ago I reinstall that one (this time install win 10 home, after I upgrade it to Pro, and all the wallets are fine now...
If some one got similar problem and know the issue let us know and the solution Please

Yes, some versions of windows 10 seem to have trouble connecting to all variations of QT wallets, I have not pinpointed exactly why that is, but the easiest solution for you would be to find a configuration file for each of the coins not connecting or build one and then place them in the appropriate area. This should manually force your wallet to connect to those nodes and as far as i know no fixes exist yet anywhere in a step by step guide for this win 10 issue.

So first of all knc is still operating like it was designed and i still pay for web hosting out of my own pocket, the coin has been decentralized from day one so you must not understand that the only thing i did ever control was the site and thread. Feel free to message the people involved in my past projects though and you will find i am in frequent collaboration with most of them on things past, present and prior. We are also allowing anyone to contact us and take over development of knc if they are committed as it has too many serious problems for us to use properly going forward.

It also seems to have hit a ATH in JAN without me being around, so i would like to know exactly why it is your mad?

It is likely that somewhere along the line you had some sort of issue with connecting to the network and you probably ended up on your own chain producing blocks that can't exist leaving you in a loop.


The simplest way to fix this is go into the %Appdata% folder and delete everything except for your wallet.dat and you woke.conf then reopen it, let it sync and you should start staking fine!

If you would like more help or a faster way to reach us i would recommend joining the discord!

If you are on windows 10 placing the newest woke.conf file in the appdata folder will resolve this problem. If that does not resolve it then it is two other possible sources.

1. You are already running a WOKE wallet on a different machine on the network and the ports are already being used.

2. A Firewall/Routing issue on your end is blocking you from connecting.

POW only works good under a huge decentralized system or else you run into malicious miners and problems, for most of crypto POS is a better alternative IMO.


- Uses way Less electricity, Way smaller footprint.

- Rewards people already holding the coin instead of outside miners who do not care about its future.

- Increases the incentives to Hodl.

- Faster Block Times.

- Less networking Issues from malicious miners.

- Easier to understand for newcomers.

Hello Dude, the wollet start to work by it self after the 3th windows restart I check few times the conf file, all good there Thank you. Just can't get why it stay on 1-3 connections all the time .., NVM what nodes I put there, don't have limit for the connections in the conf file ..., will see in the next few days.
