Since bitcoin is used worldwide, not literally as a mode of payment by every store but sometimes a an alternative banking system, then it's hard for us to tell which influences the prices specifically.
In a day we do not know how many are encouraged to invest or who leave because of uncertainty. That is why the volality of prices are very hard to predict. Every movement may be caused by different things and happenings. Yet we need to put it all together and stop thinking negative thoughts about it. Most likely, we are the one causing FUD around. The predictions about high prices fills in the market and lets just hodl.

I really wonder that see the price of bitcoin price . now price of bitcoin 9038 usd .
can any one explain why this pump??
someone told that bitcoin hard fork is coming that's why this price pump .

Growing fame of bitcoin, i think, is the cause of this pump. Potential investors and investors are increasing and so is the demand that is why prices is pumping.

bitcoin raise/pump because of its international demand and no forks has influence on its bitcoin price hike, the demand of bitcoin all over the world is so high because some of social medias are advertising/introduce this bitcoin and it may cause of more exposure to the people to meet our bitcoin. and the supply of bitcoin is too low to provide all the demand so thats the reasons why bitcoin price always goes to pump.

There is an overall optimism felt over the Bitcoin market right now because sooner or later hot money from many fund managers can be coming into it and we are anticipating for the official start of the Bitcoin Futures by CME which by itself if successful can open up many new avenues for people to get into the Bitcoin club. There are no solid bad news on the horizon and the feeling for next year is quite good. These sentiments are reflected right now in Bitcoin. As always, this bull run is making some wary for the possible bubble burst. Do you believe that it is possible for Bitcoin to have a mega crash within this year?

There is no any economical & technical development in Bitcoin to pump it's value. This is only due to heavy demand because of fork and traders are getting benefit of difference in demand and supply.

Wow it's really amazing. Is there any possibilities that bitcoin will bit approximately $10,000 before this year ends? Whatta great investment. I think it will make some pumps because of the coming for and you are right. I heard it also to some investors.

There's no upcoming Bitcoin fork that is of any significance to affect things such as price.
This pump is simply attributed to the increasing Bitcoin demand due to media exposure. A higher price brings even more exposure as well. It could be a circle.

True

Forks don't play an important role in Bitcoin's price at all.

That's not true. Once a fork is upcoming, Bitcoin's price might either rise or fall, depending on the Fork. If people think the forked coin will be worth a lot, it might cause a temporary pump, as everyone wants a 1 + 1 for free bonus on their BTC Investment.

Even without a fork, the price of Bitcoin is like a rollercoaster that makes it a risky investment. Pump and dump are quite a natural thing... it happens even in Forex, binary option, and other tradings.

There are a lot of reasons that might have influenced the value of bitcoin to pump like its pumping currently, some of the factors might include endless bitcoin hard forks, one other major factor might be the fact that a lot of countries are now using bitcoin,  its getting more popular and mostly used in most countries which is driving the demand up. We should expect $10 000 by the end of this week and $15 000 by the end of this year, bitcon grows like no other cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin hardfork don't make bitcoin prices higher, but the people who want to buy Bitcoin is the one of reason. When bitcoin has been split (hardfork) on August 2017, people who held bitcoin at the time will get free money within BCH coins. Now people has learn from that experience and they want to get free money too, so they scramble to buy bitcoin before the hardfork and I think that's the reason.

I dont believe that bitcoins rise this recent days will be attributed to fork.
First of all because i havent heard of any upcoming fork yet.
Then it is not only bitcoins value is rising.  But altcoins as well. Therefore i believed this is because of the new investors/users coming to put some money in cryptocurrency.  We may now be coming near to the day wherein cryptocurrency will be widely accepted already worldwide.

I am not sure if this is going to have any affect at all, because some people are saying that these futures are not going to be investments into actual bitcoins, so these companies are not going to stock up on bitcoins for this.

The hedge fund would make some sense, but that will only have an affect, once this has been approved. They will not be buying, before the approval was granted.

I think Black Friday might have had some influence too. < People buying more coins to fund their bitcoin purchases >

The news right now is that the CME, Group will be adding bitcoin futures to their exchange.  The Chicago Mercantile Exchange is the largest commodities exchange in the world.  So here comes Wall St Money.  I hear people talk about BTC at 10K by the end of the year.  That is foolish in my opinion.  Once that big money starts to come in, who will be selling? Nobody. I wouldn't be surprised to see $20-30K by January 1.  That of course is only an opinion.  I have no mathematical formula to back that up.

I'll be watching closely on the 10th though, that is for sure.

can any one explain why this pump??
The pump is not because of bitcoin fork
Here, fixed it for you.  2017 has been a great year for the tech geeks and bitcoin enthusiasts, their positiveness was spot on track, and it did result wonderfully. There have been way too many pumps, knowing the reason accurately is getting harder by the day. This current pump is for promoting and popularity motive, so that people can know bitcoin has crossed 10,000$. P.S wasn't bitcoin going to be listed by the CME group by 20th November? This can be a big reason for the pump too.

I don't think bitcoin hard forks play any role in the current rise in the price of bitcoin due to the fact that bitcoin is becoming more accepted in the society as a secondary currency and again bitcoin has gain more popularity in the market and more commercial institutions like banks are now taking advantage of the volatility of bitcoin. This are the reasons for this recent pump in price. And it going to continue rising till God knows when.
