How many blocks are you showing? I have 8 connected peers, yet the most recent block is #879147, from 28th December 2013

Several coins have had frozen chains recently due to a bug that doesn't account for negative values when calculating the period between blocks. krugercoin doesn't have the same code, but it's still possible that there's a similar issue.

Yes we are still active -- We have been working re-designing the wallet and we are currently in the process of adjusting the code as it needs to evolve with the current standing of things!
