Hi guys, I don't have a huge amount of money to start but I believe in BTC in long term. Althought I can't afford the whole 1 Btc, but I'm planning to buy and hold little by little monthly ( maybe until i get 1 Btc or more) . Is it wise to hold BTC in 2018? Please I need some honest answer. Ps: ETH I def will start holding soon too Dont bother with holding ETH at this moment. If you want to buy bitcoin (satoshis) then go ahead with it. You could start by purchasing as much amount you could afford. If monthly investment is too less to purchase the bitcoin then go ahead with bimonthly strategy or trimonthly strategy. That will help you in getting satoshis(bitcoins) in chunk.

You don't have to buy the whole bitcoin. What's the difference if it's 1 or 0.1? What matters is the ROI. Let's say you bought a load of shitcoins for $100 and they rose 50-100% a year. Now imagine you bought 0.01 bitcoin for the same $100 and it will rise 300-500%. By the way, now it would be a perfect time to buy some since bitcoin dropped.

Some investors say that Bitcoins could grow to 100,000 per coin. I'm keeping mine in the Blockchain wallet and some in HexaBot to give me a bit of profit. I found an interesting project recently but Im in doubt. Mytimecoin, its like casback by coins for watching or using information from partners of it. Have anyone heard about it?

IMO, BTC is worth holding on to. Buying BTC bit by bit every month is a good way to accumulate your BTC. But just take note of the transaction fees, sometimes transaction fees can stand a significant cost of smaller transaction.

Yes bitcoin will go down and up and you will worry but ultimately it will go up. Btw think about this. A casino still makes money with only a 1% house edge. But have you seen their graphs?? there massive dips but they always go up again and they keep going up even though they might have huge dips.

In my opinion, you should expect the maximum responses in this topic, everything is great and of different levels, another factor is learning a lot, getting or buying is just factors.

You definitely should.
When I first came to know about BTC it was in low $300 range and I thought it has became very expensive (judging from it's past value of $1-2).. but man, was I wrong? .. Yes. A lot.
Next time I saw, It was already $5500 ... a freakin 20x up from last year. Then I bought as many as I could.
I believe BTC will still go up and I am going to buy more next week.
So, yeah. You should hold BTC into 2018... but try diversifying, if you capital allows.

You know, but it’s really interesting to watch how cryptocurrency is becoming more available for each of us. https://mytc.io/ Ive just checked their website and wanna try it. A blockchain platform to turn time into the cryptocurrency.

I'm an alt coin crytohead, if you want longterm stability - go for BTC (it's a proven company - it works).
Most of the alts are businesses in the making.
Just my thoughts
