What is a difference from SingularDTV? It also was "Netflix on blockchain"

Singular-DTV will acquire the distribution rights of other film and tv properties to distribute along with their projects on the TVOD portal. Which makes this project to be similar to Netflix (but on blockchain).

White Rabbit is a different story. White Rabbit is an integrated non-intrusive browser plugin/application that ensures a seamless streaming experience
for users. The plug-in recognizes the content being streamed and allows users to offer White Rabbit Tokens (WRT) to the content rights holder (CRH).White Rabbit doesn't look for acquisition of distribution rights but a fair benefit for the content rights holder.

I think a question that should be asked first, is - Who is the content rights holder?
If Youtube/ Twitch are the owners, there's no much point in this.
Our goal is to benefit the content creators and not with other platforms.

Most likely not. This will be a blockchain streaming service for movies just like Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video. The concept however is good since it will encourage the content creators to publish here as they would get paid quicker

As I realize the project will make a plug-in for major internet browsers that allows you to securely pay for content streamed to your device based on recognition of films or television series that are being watched.
The roadmap on the website says that the Alpha product launch will be in the Q2 2018.
And at what stage is the technical realization of this by now?
