Nitro + has a higher clock core, but there is no significant difference when compared to pulse. The Nitro card probably just came with really good VRAM.But for Cases Mining, I suggest buying Pulse.OC it, and you'll get the same effect as the Nitro+.

Does anyone have experience mining with the Sapphire Pulse vs Nitro rx580? From my research it appears they have the same memory clock.

However, I see a lot of people recommending the nitro and nobody recommending the pulse, is there a quantitative reason for this?
I haven't tried Nitro's but here are my pulses and I'm more than happy with them, they are stable at this hashrate and cool

Nice!  How are you able to achieve this?  I've tried everything from switching drivers, switching OS's, flashing BIOS, and when I go to adjust gpu and memory clock in afterburner, trixx, or AMD's wattman it always lowers the hashrate.  What is the secret?  I can't get more than 26 out of each card no matter what I try..
first of all what memory do you have?

But you wouldn't recommend mixing up gpus even when it's from the series, right? Because I could built up a mining rig with possibly 13 cards, however from each of those 4 sapphire nitro edition (570 with 4gb 8 gb / 580 with 4gb / 8gb) I could only get a piece of 13. So what to do? I would prefer 8gb versions for dual mining, is the handling and settings more overwhelming if you have mixed up 570 / 580 with 8gb of ram?

I'm achieving well over 31 MH/s with my Saphire Pulse 8 GB Hynix, I don't think it really matters whether you get a Nitro or a Pulse.

It doesn't matter if you build a really cool air open frame case and set the fan at 72-75%. Temperatures will be below 65 degrees with Pulses as these cards I have. I have 4 GB cards achieving in total for six cards 188 Mhash or about 31.3 per card. Their cooler is not as good as Nitro+ but they have lower power consumption if you put a wattmeter at all these never go more than 160 watt dual mining while I have seen Nitro+ well over 200 watt per card using Lafayette premium wattmeter.

A few days ago I bought a Rx 580 Sapphire 8 Gb card, but at the time of mining it only reaches 18.5 Mh / s and I would like it to reach at least 27 Mh / s. What should I do?

What are the best drivers?

I am currently using 18.3.4. drivers for months and they work like a charm.
Rig is stable and I didn't have a single crash since I installed it.
Before I used Beta blockchain drivers and I wasn't satisfied with it.
One of the gpus constantly crashed after a day or two of mining.
With 18.3.4. drivers I didn't have such problems and I am using same overclock settings as with beta blockchain drivers.

I am managing some rigs for some colleagues and I have been dealing with both version of cards. There are only 2 main differences between these two cards and I will show you right now.

The Nitro+ version has better cooling, I have 1 rig of Pulse and 1 of Nitro+ in the same room with same ambient conditions and same fan speed, the temperature of Nitro+ is lower which means this card has better cooling.

The Nitro+ also have a slightly higher clock rate as a stock although both 8 Gb cards can be pushed to 1400 mhz as core clock if you want but electricity bill will be high then.

I think that spending a few extra bucks for Nitro+ is worth in the long run.

The main difference between these GPUs is that Nitro edition has much more efficient cooling system. Mining performance is equal. Nitro is good especially in summer time when Pulse edition may be overheated.
