Truth, there were a lot of people forecasting $5,000 until December and when the Chinese drama hit, a lot of people said it was the end of bitcoin... never take people's comments as if it were true absolute... we always have to analyze things with our own mind.

so i think 20k$ in the next year is totally possible.

This is a very realistic forecast compared to the forecasts that many analysts make on a daily basis.

Nope, I think that is an illusion of the people who wants to earn high amount of money. I think you believe to the fantasy of your mind not to the reality, because even how fast bitcoin value raise in crypto community I guess they can't reach it into small period of time. 1 year is not to achieve that value.

That is 4times the price now, I don’t think that’s is possible in the year 2018 because we don’t even have no clue what are the big events that might affect the bitcoin pricing next year. That is either good or bad that either increase or decrease or even stop its bullish run coming from this year. I can give numbers but 25000$ to 30000$ is much more attainable.

But Bitcoin price rose 10 times in 2017. So 4 times rise in price is not something impossible. I think there is a high probability that price rise to much more than 40000 dollar. What will happen in 2018 is really unpredictable and every thing is possible.

I get what you mean and that is true. But we should also look for the price in 2017 it’s 2000$ from we’re i start investing. And it is now at 11500$ so your reasoning is valid. But those have invested in 2000$ will not the same capacity to invest in 11000$. The high the price, the lesser investor but I don’t know if I’m wrong so this is just my opinion. 2017 has different scenario than this coming 2018 when it comes to price.

Well we dont know yet what will gonna happen in year 2018. But there is always the chance it may hit the target to that price. Bitcoin is really spreading its awareness in any country now and being notice by many so I also do hope it will going high next year.

uhhh it could seriously hit $20k in like April, that is if it doesn't grow too fast. April would be reasonable growth to get to $20k, that's 5 months to not even double, that'd be a significant slow down from current growth.

As long as there is fresh money flowing into this market, and people are willing to buy themselves into the market at any possible price, then it will happen. However, people due to the recent increase think that this market will only go up in value, and when the market does happen to correct significantly at whatever time, people will get the shock of their life when they see how the market gets sold down. One way or another, the correction will happen, the only question that matters but people have no answer to, is when it is going to happen. But then again, corrections are only of short term, so depending on how the market keeps performing, we might not suffer for long. People are desperately looking for a discount these days.

He's a billionaire and every words he say can affect the market of what he's supporting. It's obvious that he's supporting bitcoin and he is encouraging other billionaires to invest with it.

We can't tell if that can happen next year but who doesn't like it to happen? All of us will be glad if that will be for real.

40k is incredible, I do not know if it is going to be reached but I will not be mad if that happened, but if you were to ask me I would like for bitcoin to retain its current price for some time, the growth has been too fast and while I have invested all the money that I can afford in it I'm still not comfortable with my amount of bitcoin I have and if the price keeps growing my current holdings are going to become more valuable but it is going to be more difficult to get more bitcoin.

Going off this year, and how things are only speeding up! No i don't think it is high expectations. It might not hit $50k, but I kind of feel like $50k might be too low a prediction! Bitcoin has only been going crazy since May, in just over 7 months it's gone from $1400 to $13,400 for a 9.5x increase in just over 7 months. And you're telling me it can't do another less the 4x increase in ~13 months? No I think that is well within the realm of what is possible for bitcoin next year.
