I still recommend to diversify the risks and buy bitcoin and altcoins. And don't expect them very quick profits - and the violas are often at the bottom, and bitcoin can go to the correction. But in the long term - six months or a year is a very good investment

Depends on what money you have available to put into investing. I suggest you put some in 50% in Bitcoin and 50% in Altcoins that are doing well - Ethereum, IOTA, Ripple or Stellar.

I think this is a really good long-term plan, and I suggest that if you have enough capital, look for a high priced altcoin and now down, but I can not guarantee that altcoin prices will go up again, everything comes back with your trust

I want to buy altcoin or bitcoin for investment purposes before January Which one do you recommend to buy? Or some bitcoin and some altcoin?
Makes sense to invest in both, depending on your capital. If you have money to spend, then go 50/50. Altcoins are on a rise now too but Bitcoin will probably reach $15K by 2018.

For me I would go for 60-40%.60%for the Bitcoin since its price is very stable it drop small but pump big. 40% for altcoins because there are altcoins that even if not that high price but you can still get profit on it.

Bitcoin is too expensive, so to invest in Bitcoin you will probably need to trade in Altcoins first maybe. Start with Altcoins that are good, that are Ethereum or now you have IOTA and Stellar on the rise, then trade for Bitcoin after.

Buy bitcoin and hodl or buy altcoin and bitcoin at the same time. I don't suggest hodling 1 coin altcoin, but multiple ones.

I believe in having both at the same time, then you have coins to fall back on. You make more profit more this way too.

Bitcoin is a safe investment. But buying some Altcoins too is a good idea. I suggest buying a bit of both coins. Both Altcoins go up and down, so if you have both you have a win win situation if you invest carefully.

Just buy BTC as much as you can before the year ends, then dump it before 2018 because it will still pump upto $25k each bitcoin.
Bitcoin BTC will surely give you good return of investment no matter how small is your investment capital but for long-term investment you should divide 50-50, half for Bitcoin and the other half would be for Altcoins. Purchase one BTC BTC, the remaining two thirds all buy various altcoin. Because the unit price of bitcoin has now successfully exceeded 15,000 US dollars, I think the level of increase is high enough to be sold. This part of the capital will be returned to the altcoin market, so I think we should focus on altcoin.

I would suggest both BTC and an altcoin like Ethereum, Ripple or IOTA. They all have real tangible products and use cases.

I don't know the capacity of your investment but if you have huge fund you can invest in bitcoin but if your fund is not that huge you can as well go for an investment in altcoins.

Probably now it is not the best time to buy Bitcoins (it is rising). I would better concentrate my attention on altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Waves, EOS, NEM, NEO and Cardano. These will be the alts that will grow in 2018.

It's better to start from the classics: BTC, LTC, ETH When you'll get the idea and obtain some experience - welcome to an amazing but scammy world of "altcoins & tokens"

If it was me then i would buy 70% bitcoin and 30% altcoin. Most people prefer Bitcoin for investment and altcoin as part of other benefits. In the investment world everyone hopes to get a lot of benefits so people choose to prefer the bitcoin than any other cryptocurrency.

a great idea is to invest in bitcoin and also altcoins, because using money to buy variety of altcoins can be safer and maximize our long term profit, we can earn a lot of money from many altcoins and also bitcoin may make us rich in the future.

Bitcoin is unstable BUT compare to altcoin its more stable, it last longer and it has a low probability to drop real low. And for altcoin , most of them just start high, then after they will flap down . There just some that does survive. Too risky that most altcoins are just some scam. There's more assurance with bitcoin I bet.

Depends how much you have to invest. I think at this point (especially if you don't have a huge amount) you could make a greater long term profit investing in alts; have a mixed portfolio and keep up to date with ICOs as they're happening.
