Actually it would be good news if MCdonald actually opened his payment service using crypto money, but we also can not directly believe the news, because I think the news is not entirely true. |

Great! So when I'm hungry at midnight and looking for some midnight snack, I'll just call their hotline and will pay through bitcoins.
Although for sure the price equivalent to bitcoin isn't going to the same and it will be a lot of more expensive I guess.

I think it's good that the one of the biggest restaurant will finally start the trend so the others will follow. This will make it easy fo people to purchase foods from their favorite fastfood. It will be of a great help because it will serve the same purpose as the credit card where your purchase is digitally available. It will be easy and secure.

obviously if they did accept Bitcoin it would be Bitcoin Cash. There's no way Bitcoin Core could scale to do it, fees would be far too high to make any sense.
( no, the "lightning network" isn't coming to save Bitcoin payments. BTC has decided to be a digital gold/store of value.)

Yes that news only rumors no officially announce from McDonalds, and if this is happen how about the transaction fee, and fee will be the big concern for every merchant who what to use Bitcoin as they payment method. |

It might happen in the near future because many merchants right now are getting interested in Bitcoin. As far as I know, there are already few stores and shops in different countries that accept Bitcoin as payment, so maybe they will gonna follow this trend. But still, it is up to them if they will going to make a thorough analysis and if they will going to allow this kind of payment. So far we already heard a case like this from Amazon and Alibaba, and the crypto community said it's all fake news and just rumors, but whatever it is we all hope and we would want it to happen.

I think a lot of good news are associated to this news. It is showing some sign of growing acceptability of bitcoin. I have watched a documentary in Japan where it is already being used to pay for food in some restaurants. |

McDonalds will accept bitcoin because they now that bitcoin is the future, They also accept MatrixCoin in the future because MatrixCoin will soon be the competitor of Bitcoin. If that really happens it must be a big steps for that company well by now so many people knows bitcoin so making those moves by mcdonalds they know people will agree by their decision in fact some of restaurant in other country they accept bitcoin as a payment but if mcdonalds really embrace bitcoin as a payment this will be a huge not only for bitcoin but for all cryptocurrencies.

Never mind.  Well, for any merchant to accept a payment it needs to be faster, on the spot and very stable. This is the characteristic of fiat currency which bitcoin does not have in the first place. The merchants like Mac Donald’s will work on the live payment portal where there transactions are processed immediately (almost) and goes through the visa or MasterCard services. Even the cash memo is entered immediately and updated into the system. This makes their chartered account to manage very easily. The question is why would they choose bitcoin as payment mode. |
