That is good. maybe i can order some food with 0.000xx btc i have.
it would be great if it happened, because I am sure, many companies will follow this if it really develops. moreover this is free advertising.
Whoa. It is really a good news for me as a customer. I am actually eating to that fast food when im too hungry ang needs to eat in the right time. Bitcoin as a payment is good for me. It rrally makes the payment very fast.

.0002 btc please. Fees are .0003. Bitcoin will not be very popular with cheap purchases due to high fees.

There are some McDonald fast food stores in certain countries that is already accepting bitcoins. The whole world knows McDonalds so these news would pass to their fast food chain competitors and will result for the others to do it too so I'm really happy on what is happening with bitcoin.

I also like mcdonalds as for me, it taste much better to other fast food chain here in my country.  It would be easy for bitcoin user to buy some food or ask for delivery paying bitcoin.  But as for me, I will not consider myself paying bitcoins in foods as I know I can buy them using my money.  But as to bitcoins no because I know I can earn much.

Just what I was thinking. A few days back, I paid $12 for a single transaction. Imagine paying that much for a burger, which normally costs $2. McDonald's is not crazy to accept this much transaction fee.

Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.

Unfortunately I agree... Actually bitcoin is not a good way to pay for daily things. Devs should implement solutions for fast and low-fees payments ASAP.

Great Cheesy

I would like to see if they accept bitcoin in their business.
I just wonder how they advertise their products like

Todays Offer
Buy Burger at Just for 1 BTC

LOLz
Well as we know that bitcoin is recently accepted by some rich companies some of them have belong to medicine and some of them are related with food and MacDonald is one of the example of it and I think pizza hut is also trying to join bitcoin so it’s a very good news for bitcoin users and as well as it’s a very great step for bitcoin and I’m sure that next year some more countries and companies will also accept bitcoin because bitcoin is very important for them.

Without fee upgrade, there is nothing to do with bitcoin in food patments or daily usage. Basically, the fee could be easily more expensive than the product you want to buy. This is a problem.

No one wants to pay 10$ fees for 3$ Hamburger. It's a good news because bitcoin will be more known but fees will be a problem.

I personally think it would be a waste for fast food places. I do think it would be nice in major grocery retailers like walmart/sams club/Costco where you actually have a big balance.

That would be a major leap for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in terms of acceptability and trust if ever mcdonalds a major fast food chain company actually accepts it as a mode of payment. I think if that happens it would open more windows of opportunities and adaptation by different retailers and services world wide.

This not real news because McDonald's haven't yet declared the news on their official website or news.
It would be very good if there is an acceptance of Bitcoins in McDonald's because it also increases their profits and also customers would be satisfied by their payment by means of Bitcoin.

even if it was true, how much do you need to pay commissions to buy a cheeseburger? 8-10 $? Now the commissions are too big to make small purchases

I think they should include other cryptocurrency that is available in the market. bitcoin are very high on fees while the price go up is just like paying fees that your meal in Mcdonalds. hope they are aware in volatility of bitcoin.

If lightning network works, then yes OFC. IF

But even the fastest on-chain transaction at the current level is too slow for retail, what are you going to do in Mcdonalds after ordering, wait there until it's confirmed? Fast food slow payments.

I wouldn't trust random articles on the internet.

Now if Amazon starts accepting bitcoin, that could be something. It would be perfect. Transactions have time to get confirmed, they are usually made for more than a burger and cola and Amazon is huge.

From what I've read they are considering this for at least a year but are kept in check by the legal complexities. You can expect a hard push to regulate BTC in the USA.

if that is true then i would be glad because little by little bitcoins become more accessible. because personally i prefer to use my bitcoins wallet wherever i go than to use fiat.
