Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.

I really think this is gonna happen in the future because many merchant right now are really getting interested in holding bitcoin right now, and I have realized recently that there are now many in my country that are now accepting bitcoin, And I really think that even if bitcoin doesn't have a huge amount yet back then many had seen the potential of bitcoin to be use in a direct transaction.

If this is really happening then it is a great thing of course. This is a very high advance because in the end bitcoin can be used for everyday transactions. We must appreciate and continue to support places that can accept bitcoin.

It depends if it is cheap to buy it with Bitcoin. You have to deal with the fees first, but for me, I won't spend my Bitcoin's just for that.

i don't know if it's fake new or legit but i do hope this is true so that i can order and eat Mcdonalds wiithout hassle. I also do hope that the transaction fees will be much more cheaper than the meal so it will be convinient to the people who loves to eat Mcdonalds anytime.

Why would anyone use a currency like Bitcoin to buy things when in a few months time that amount might be worth 4x.
Until it flattens out surely no one would be silly enough to buy French fries with an amount that might be worth hundreds in just a few weeks

If this would be permitted then that would send shockwaves to the whole industry because a renowned fast food restaurant chain would start accepting it and that would mean that some other restaurants would take notice and follow suit.

If you believe the news, then McDonald's will start taking bitcoin in 2018. Changes in payment methods may be made in a month. Probably in these places now will be installed special terminals

Wow this is a good start for a fast food that actually accepting bitcoin as payment for a meal. This will literally answer the question of my parents shouting me that "you cant eat that bitcoin here is couple of dollars buy your self a real food and stop wasting your time in front of the computer" if this happen i will treat them wearing only a boxer shorts and my mobile phone. lol

It's a smart move for them to take and embrace bitcoins as a medium for payments because bitcoin prices are increasing everyday despite the price volatility. This is a big win for McDonald's.
