I dont think so. But if they will accept bitcoin in the future it would be a grear project. We are all bitcoiners will be happy to buying then with our btc stacks.
It is not practical. When the transaction fee is ranging from $5 to $20, who is going to make their payments in Bitcoin? Do you want your $3 bill inflated to $23?

For companies it is a great idea to start accepting bitcoin more so as the value keeps increasing as they could sell a product for x price and a couple of years later that could be worth a whole lot more although as a consumer I would not like to spend my bitcoin and for that to happen. Once the value level is static using bitcoin like this would be more practical.

This is McDonald's making a very wise move in terms of their financial stability. I bet they would just accept bitcoins and not even cash it out like we all do. Maybe they're in a financial crisis that's why they're trying their luck on investing with bitcoins. Very good move in my opinion and this would increase sales too.

With the current transaction time, duration and transaction fees paying to McDonald's or any other joints would not quite be a good idea. With such high fees, you will be paying more than what you have to pay and wait for the transaction to be completed. For this step to be more better transaction fees should go down and transaction time should be reduced only then people would pay at such places with bitcoin.

This is a good information, the information you bring can dramatically increase the bitcoin value.
That was very good news for all the of the users of bitcoin and it is very nice idea for the people who are holding bitcoin because they dont need cash to buy for one of the best fast food in this world, and to use bitcoin by buying for fastfood is very possible in 2018 or maybe in 2019.

It is possible only while using a third party payment processor (such as Bitpay or Coinbase). Transfer between two Coinbase accounts attracts no fees, and the transaction will be over in a few milli seconds. But then, you can't say that a particular store accepts BTC. You must say that the store accepts BitPay payments.

For this matter I doubt it since transaction fees are pretty high and is more expensive than the food we order. This offer is still good if we are doing something like a blow out together with family or friends. For me I would rather make a cash-out and pay my orders via fiat money I treat Bitcoin myself as an investment so I'm not gonna use it as payment as long as the fees are quiet high. But of course having Bitcoin as a payment option in Mcdonalds will boost the cryptocurrency community because I know a lot of innocent people had to ask what is Bitcoin and then they will realize they are gonna try it or make a research on it and will soon be one of us. Good for Mcdonalds since Bitcoin has potential and is continue rising.

Why pay with Bitcoin when you can pay in cash? It’s easier and faster. Hassle free and the transaction is immediate. It’s a fast food chain! Paying with Bitcoin would defeat it’s purpose...

Since the CME annoucend late this October 17 that it was to launch Bitcoin futres in the Q4 if this year, we saw an incredible +50% move. Also the clearly widespreak acceptance and adoption of bitcoin played a role in the rally we are currently seeing, but we shouldn't forget all this is still speculation. Many companies, apart from McDonalds plan also to accept Bitcoin by 2018 (may be), like Walmart, Amazon, British Airways, Easyjet, Apple, Primark, but really, if you are going to use your coins to pay for a Chicken Burgen, you will end up loosing money as you will have to pay the fees which could be even higher than the fractions of BTC you will be sending to McDonalds Or these companies will be ready to pay the fees for you? will this making sense?

fake or not... i think it will not truly benefit the entire bitcoin community. if this happens it will surely put an effect on fees and transaction traffic that we are currently experiencing right now. why not create their own separate altcoin for this purpose...

it's quite hard to believe just simply because you will pay transfer fee by just transferring your bitcoin plus taxes for buying your order plus the price of your order itself, it's not practical to buy food using bitcoin to be honest. it seems that it will take some time and there will be a lot of changes at the time bitcoin will be use by a person for consumption

I think it's possible that McDonalds will receive a bitcoin, because some of our places like the convenient store already accept bitcoin as payment. I think the time will comes for bitcoin to be paid for purchases.

You just need to exchange the bitcoin into your money. If you pay with bitcoin, the fee would be higher than even your hamburger.

Well this clearly shows that firms are ready to start collecting Bitcoins by any way possible as they are now confident that crypto currency shall be valued more in future thus now they shall start storing worth 12 bucks from public which later on will just increase in value and boom the rich guy just became more rich.
