2k18 is too early I think, but to the best of my knowledge, only few decades are required to make BTC acceptable all over the world. For the present days BTC are the good source of income but after minting BTC, one need to change it into the local currency because BTC are not yet centralized by the government but it's incredible status in the market of economy would make government to legalize BTC in their respective countries and then BTC would be accepted by MacDonald and other by other kind of stuff.

I think that in 2018 a lot of restaurants will start to accept bitcoin as payment. Also I think soon the big companies will follow it but maaan the bitcoin price scares the investors right now...

Nah, it will make a lot of sense if McDonalds would create their own coin rather than accepting bitcoins. Bitcoin's price is very volatile so your burger could be either costly or cheaper as you stand in line. ha ha! Anyway, if this is true then kudos. I think you would probably be able to top up your McDonald's balance like you do with steam. That would make more sense. I like what you said and I believe the same. I think it would be much better for them to have their own currency. McDonald's having their own currency would be very interesting. I think it would go up in value quite a lot. If the mainstream use it then it will skyrocket. |

It will be interesting, if it is really so, but that's just how many people will pay a constantly expensive bitcoin in McDonald's - it's not clear.

I'm sure that not only McDonald will be accepting btc payments, probably
in the next few weeks will find that it will be the main used e-money because of it's great succes
and the fact that it's well known to almost every one. So recognizing btc will be a great step in reducing
the use of real money all over the world

Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.
made me laugh,buying burger and fries and drinks using bitcoin?only fool will spend his bitcoin just for a fatty meal.i dont know why this people making sense out of this kind of thread.this newbies must be stopped in making non fruitful topics. |

Unless bitcoin adopts Lightening network the bitcoin is not at all impossible to use as for payment. As of now cost per transaction is around $26.

Well base on the article that i read japan community accept bitcoin as a payment for buying food or any type of business. If ever mcdonalds truly accept bitcoin as new way of payment this move by mcdo means that the society now slowly embrace bitcoin as new type of currency.

Now Bitcoin will help business establishment to promote the products but accepting another mode of payment using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that customers will find more convenient when they don't have any cash in their pockets but instead Bitcoin or digital coins that is available to pay.
Mc Donalds and other alike food chains will support Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies to be able them to make competitions and advancement.
