Yes that woul make sense. Since cryptocurrency is now in demand there are some countries didn't authorize cryptocurrency legal. But there are some country like UK legally accepted to their country and McDonald's is the first fast food chain accepting cryptocurrency.

This will be the best news one can get if it were to become true,but if we think practically who would like to pay in Bitcoin in consideration to present transaction fees.The irony is that if you pay via bitcoins you will have to pay more transaction fee than the meal.

Well it is a really great news that mcdonalds will accept bitcoin because the food will be cheaper and easier to buy. Bitcoins is a digital currency that's why it has a secured and fast transaction and it was really a good idea if bitcoins can be used on a fast food stall.

This is a great news for all the Mcdonalds lovers and also good for those who want to pay in bitcoins for their burgers. The only thing which I think will hurdle them is the transaction confirmations times. BTC has brand thats why it is dominating, but we can see from coinmarketcap.com that its dominance is slowly slipping off from alts, until and if some measures are taken to address this issue.


Have you been paying attention to the news and all? Thats why we ended up with first hard fork and some other ones down the road.... On the bitcoin they are testing LN - lighting network , SegWit curretly it is being tested on bitcoin testnet, Just google it or you might find videos on youtube about it. Thats why some forks (BitcoinCash, BitGold, BitCore etc.) have implemented some things and have working prototypes now, it will take some time for bitcoin to adopt to LN and it may or may not solve the issue, but it can get close to solving it. Wait and see what happens.

If we are going to used bitcoin to buy products in McDonalds, is these happenings will open that Bitcoin must have taxes too. It is good for us to use Bitcoin for transaction because it can lessen the waiting time of people and the accommodation per shops will be big since they can entertain many people. While I thinks it's great for bitcoins, there are a couple of things I am worried about:

1. In some cases, the cost of a transaction will exceed cost of a meal
2. If they wait for multiple confirmations, it could be a very lengthy wait for a meal

But, I still think an accepting bitcoin logo outside McDonalds could help raise awareness.

Yes this is good to know because it means that mcdonalds is accepting the new currency which is called cryptocurrency regarding bitcoin. Is this true? Well if this happen it would be a great start for the year 2018. Some company will follows like malls, other fast foods company and many more. For us this will be a good opportunity and advantages because we are already bitcoin users. We can easily purchase or shop using our bitcoin. Well, this is good news, all people loves eating in fast food chains, and its a great thing that McDonald's will start accepting bitcoin as payment. I think it will not decrease the price because you still have to pay how much it really cost when converted to fiat, or else they're not going to get a good profit. It will only depend on them if they're going to convert it right away to their local currency. I guess when this is implemented it is better to buy when the price of bitcoin is high, it will cost you less bitcoins by then.
