Excellent news for the Cryptocurrency market. This step shows that the business is turning in the direction of working with cryptocurrencies
I agree that this is a step in favor of the future of the whole of the Crypto-currency. If the commission for transactions is reduced, there is every chance in 2018 to buy lats in Starbucks or hamburgers in McDonald's for bitcoins.

It would be really great if this ever did happen but there is zero chance of it happening anytime soon. The transactions are too expensive now on bitcoin for it to be possible. You'd end up paying about 5x more for your big mac if you paid in bitcoin and that's just not going to work.

I don't think its gonna happen, because the transaction fee will result in increase in the price of the meals, so it won't make any sense

Why wait until 2018. mcdonalds is a very famous person and I like him. I think, mcdonalds is just an example. There will be a lot of investors like him. And the market will grow more than 2017

Ronald McDonald must went crazy lol. But I agree this pretty much looks like a fake. The fee makes this idea unfeasible at the moment, as for me.

Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.
Here in my country, if the wallet to send the payment and the wallet to receive are both a wallet of coins.ph, there is no transaction fees, so it will be better here in our country if the McDonalds will use and for sure they will use the local bitcoin wallet. Then that's a great news for us here.

This is a great development for Bitcoin, where it is now being accepted in other companies that provides services or merchandises. Slowly every establishment in a city will now accept also Bitcoins. It can be barber shop or any other small businesses also.

I really think this is gonna happen in the future because many merchant right now are really getting interested in holding bitcoin right now, and I have realized recently that there are now many in my country that are now accepting bitcoin, And I really think that even if bitcoin doesn't have a huge amount yet back then many had seen the potential of bitcoin to be use in a direct transaction.
If this is really happening then it is a great thing of course. This is a very high advance because in the end bitcoin can be used for everyday transactions. We must appreciate and continue to support places that can accept bitcoin.
If that fast food chain accept bitcoin, how about their competitors like Jollibee, KFC, Greenwich, Chowking and other food chain? Are they also accept bitcoin in exchange of foods and services? Or they still relied to the Fiat? Because competition in the world market still ongoing so I don't that only McDonald's is used bitcoin.

In addition, if the fast food chain accept bitcoin I'm sure that more people will request to less their price the food and services. Since bitcoin is not covered by the government, I'm sure that no Value Added Tax (VAT) will reflect to the receipt of each fast food chain. Because all their income using bitcoin had no tax.
im glad to hear a good news.but like you say it will be less their pice and service.cause i think if all people use bitcoin to pay they food it use a huge fee for the transaction and the competitor must thinking about that if they use bitcoin for paid

If the news is true, I hope Bitcoin's price could rise by more than 20k dollars by 2018. The reason, McDonalds is a large company with branches in almost all countries of the world. Obviously, this will apply if a Bitcoin transaction allows in the country.

That's good news i think as we know McDonlads has several outlets around the world and much people are interested. So do not be surprised if there will be some places like McDonalds that will accept Bitcoin as payment. Because it's really helpfull for Bitcoin users it's so much easier to pay it. But maybe the problem is only the fee when sending Bitcoin.

I think McDonalds want to accept is incorrect, we should know the impact of bitcoin on the economy, it will help us evade taxes, and a chain of large McDonalds shop tax evasion, that would be horrible, the government would not let that happen and McDonalds would not want to have trouble from the government. In addition, the value of bitcoin is constantly increasing, users will not waste their bitcoin on unnecessary places, accepting bitcoin also does not bring too much meaning, that only made the payment becomes inconvenient and brought about issues related to the law

McDonald's accepting bitcoin is more like a propaganda device. Who will spend two hamburgers and only buy one?

I totally agree with you. Aside from evading taxes, which is unlikely to happen coz as we all know, the Government won't allow that to happen. If that food chain, accept bitcoin as mode of payment, then its product's price will keep on changing. There will be no stable price coz bitcoin price keeps on fluctuating. This will make confusion to those consumers. Thus, it's really hard to implement this kind of system. And I'm pretty sure that McDonald's won't accept bitcoin as payment.
