Blockchain stuck at 28800

The wallet was reporting an out of memory error to getblocktemplate requests (the server has plenty of free memory). It also wouldn't respond to a request to shutdown cleanly.

We've done a force shutdown and are re-indexing. Stay tuned..
Still failling with the same error..

Debug log says:

Code:
2018-01-02 12:32:12 CreateNewBlock(): total size 39631
2018-01-02 12:32:12 Masternode payment is out of drift range. Paid=10.00 Min=12.50

2018-01-02 12:32:12 CreateNewBlock() : TestBlockValidity failed

Need to wait for the devs to reply

We're up and running again. There was a bug in main.cpp checking for the block height at which the masternode payment changes.

Can someone help a bit with masternode configuration?

I already have the collateral transaction with lots of confirmations

I have set up the local node and in the masternode.conf I have all the info, privkey, txid, index etc. The masternode appears in the tab and the collateral is locked in the coin control inputs

Trying to start it fails as the masternode is not found. The remote node is on a public IP and reachable with port 52543 from the local node. I checked

Typing masternode status in remote node (from bulwark-cli) reports that Masternode not found in the list of available masternode. Hot node, waiting for confirmation.

in remote bulwark.conf I have

rpcuser=<user>
rpcpassword<password>
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=<privkey>

The privkey was generated on the remote node and added in masternode.conf of the local node

Is something missing?

Hop in the discord and check out pinned messages in the masternodes channel.

Stu set up a script that will set up the masternode for you and do all the hard work. All you need to do is go to a website like vultr.com and set up a linux vps.

If you have any issues, there are usually plenty of people online that will be able to assist you in getting up and running.

If you're not able to find assistance for whatever reason, send me a private message in Discord and we'll link up tomorrow and I'll help walk you through the process.

I found the info on discord after all in an old message. Thanks to whoever pointed it out

It turns out the GUI button is broken. It must be done with a console command
startmasternode "all" 0  (or 1 depending on whether you want the wallet to lock immediately afterwards)

I hope this annoying bug gets fixed. It will be puzzling for many newcomers like me.

Seems to have activated now. Guess I'll know for sure when the first payment arrives

so..broken blockchain?

No. Looks like a wallet from the pool misbehaved and has since been restarted. Blockchain is fine

It's not just "the pool" but multiple pools (at least BSOD, uMine and Altminer went down, which is most of the total network's hashrate). And they didn't just "misbehave", there was a bug in the wallet's code related to the masternode payout change at the block 28800.

What I don't understand though is whether it's still safe to use the windows qt wallet (which hasn't been updated so far). Devs didn't say a word here about this whole thing yet. Is it safe to use the current qt wallet, or should we wait for the new build?

The wallets are on github.com, the links are in the first post of this thread.
stratum connection failed @ bsod.
Again?!
I've had constant "stratum connection interrupted" messages with the BSOD pool. Stopped mining with them because of those, my gpus would go idle every 5-15 minutes, and then reconnect again within a minute or so. I don't think that's healthy for the cards (temps suddenly drop and then rise again), so I switched to other pools (though I still see that message once in a while with others as well, but not as frequently as with BSOD).

I don't think it's actually needed for the poolofd32th pool. Some pools mine multiple coins on the same port, for example look at the x11, scrypt and quark rows in the table on poolofd32th — there is more than 1 coin for each of those. So if you only want a particular coin out of the three x11 coins the pool is currently mining, then it's not enough to just specify -a x11 and the port in your miner batch file — you'll also want to somehow notify the pool about the actual coin you're after. That is done with the "-p c=BWK" parameter.

As of right now though, poolofd32th is only mining one NIST5 coin, which is Bulwark. So it's not really required. But if the pool operator will later decide to mine another NIST5 coin on the same port, then that "-p c=BWK" will be required. So you might want to add this option now just to be safe in the future.

Yes.  Shit like this will happen when you simply clone a coin, not understand the code and pretend to be  blockchain devs.  Risky chain, careful y'all!  Sell and move on, this project will be as bad as Signatum scam of 2017.  It's the same team pre-Discord split, expect nothing less than a shit-show!
