The Bulwark Team is in the final stages of testing the updated wallet version.  We expect these tests to conclude by tomorrow and will release the updated wallet version then.  Please treat the release tomorrow as a mandatory upgrade and update your desktop and VPS wallets as soon as possible.  Now would be a good time to update your wallet.dat file if you haven't done so recently.

What do you mean by "update your wallet.dat"?

I think he means to backup your wallet.dat.

For miners, just make sure that you and your pool are on the correct chain, compare the block height with the one on the explorer. I believe the explorer are up to date.

When the new wallet software is release, you will just need to upgrade the .exe. There might be some special instructions but it might be a simple delete old .exe and put in new .exe.  Either way, your wallet.dat and associated addresses will not change. Just backup wallet.dat in case of a bug.

We've reached out to them to let them know about the issue and to suspend trading at the same time we reached out to the other exchanges but they haven't responded yet. If they're on the correct chain there shouldn't be any issues though I would wait for the wallet update and for us to request opening up trading on the other exchanges to be sure before sending any coins there to trade.

Correct. It will be a relatively simple switch to upgrade to the newest wallet version. At the most we might need people to delete everything in appdata except bulwark.conf, masternode.conf (if they have a masternode), and wallet.dat prior to launching the new exe.

Mac Users: We'll be having Mr. @kewagi put together a build for Mac OSX shortly for you guys. We didn't want to halt the update release to wait for this build but we'll be getting it to you as soon as possible.

Pool Operators: If you're a pool operator that we haven't talked to already, you'll need to update your pool to prevent orphaned blocks for your miners at https://github.com/bulwark-crypto/Bulwark

Masternode Owners: If you're a masternode owner, you'll need to wipe your host VPS and reinstall the masternode using https://github.com/bulwark-crypto/Bulwark-MN-Install.

If you're not familiar with the process, wipe your VPS, login as root (or whatever sudo enabled user you've set up), and then use :
