Do deposits usually show up eventually in situations like this?

Also,  what are folks thoughts on crypto bridge?

I love crypto bridge. Nothing not to like about a decentralized exchange that can't be hacked and where you get to keep your own private keys.

Also as for people making deposits on exchanges anyways. The coins will either show up once the exchange is back up, or the transaction will be marked as conflicted and go back to the address it was originally in depending on whether or not the person sending them had updated their wallet yet at the time of sending.

I'm new to mining and would like to try and solo mine this coin. Mostly to teach myself how to do it. I used an old guide from 2014 https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/9505-how-to-solo-mine/ and this is what happened...



Anyone help me out? I'm really trying to learn here but failing. Thanks in advance.

If I'm not mistaken, you need a static IP to start

I'm fairly certain solomining is inherently disabled on the backend. Best you could do if you're really wanting to solo mine is set yourself up with a yiimp pool and just be the only person on it.

the stocks.exchange disabled the BWK wallet. Yesterday I could get open BWK address on stocks.exchange. I was mining to that address till now and I just noticed they disabled the wallet..

Before I was mining to paper wallet. I installed the Bulwark core wallet, but I not able to transfer from paper wallet to the core.

Somebody was using paper wallet? Any idea what to do now?

If you have deposited coins onto an exchange, or have withdrawn from an exchange, your coins should be safe. 

I hope for this.
Because i send coins to cryptopia, and then, when i refresh page again - i see, that deposit was disabled. So i waiting coins on exchange page(see 0 coins just yet).

I see now deposit issues with BWK at stocks.exchange and from 2 or 3 days I've been dopisiting mining BWK to my stocks.exchange wallet every 4 hours and I will continue doing this because I've no access to my mining PC till Monday. Do you think I will receive all that amount of BWK deposited and no received  when they resolve this issue? Ticket created.

For me, this is fine. They acknowledge the problem, are apparently working on it. Not mining BWK until i can actually turn the part that pays to power the rig into cash though.

I do not even know why you keep this up. Somebody already wrote that they stop the mine, until everything is working properly. I also stopped mine this coin on Friday, and I advise you. Why waste time if the coin can not be sold? Nothing personal, just business.
There are no guarantees that you will not be told tomorrow that all your coins are fake. Apologies will be of course, but for you it will not not be easier.

My understanding is it is generally preferred to mine to a wallet directly, rather than going straight to cryptopia. Think cryptopia has specifically said this.

Edit the bulwark.conf file located in appdata/roaming/Bulwark

If you have existing peers, remove them.

Delete the chainstate and blocks folders.

Restart your wallet and reindex.

I'd advise you to stop mining directly into an exchange wallet just like the exchanges advise everyone not to do as well.

Having said that, barring any issues that may arise from you mining to your exchange wallet, your coins should show up once we're all done testing and give the exchanges the go ahead to update their wallets and open up trading again.

Thanks for the advise. And I double your opinion  of not mining to an exchange directly. But at least we should have an ETA for the testing activities. can you roughly share a date with us? is it a matter of 2 days, 3 days, one week? I guess as BWK miners and traders we deserve to have a rough date " a range would be acceptable" on when we can expect things going back to normal..

If you did not update to the 1.2.1 wallet yet, your transactions will most likely get marked as "conflicted" and show back up in the address they were originally in once you update the wallet.

If you did update the wallet and were already on 1.2.1 when you sent the coins, then they'll likely pop up in your exchange account after the exchange updates things on their end when we give them the okay.
