In my own opinion, I prefer a long term investment and why ? , Because i want to secure my future. I invest on bitcoins and still have a day job but sometimes i also do trading in the market if there is a huge pump and that's how i earn profit by just buy and selling.

Right now I am only doing some short trade in alts ,
I just don't think that long term investment in alt-coin would be great .

I choose a long-term investment, because life is now getting harder and harder, then by investing in the long term there is still a picture of life for the future, if the short term means the same I do not think about the future for tomorrow. that's my opinion.

Invest in what? If you're investing with trade i suggest you to do long term. Short-term trade won't gives any benefits. If you're looking for invest by holding your coins and low price and sell it to high then again i suggest you to do long term. Hold your coins for long term . I my self do long terms trading and investment for the profits.

It all depends on your trading appetite if you what a bigger return of investment then go for long if you what not soo big yet safe investment then go short, but as bitcoin is getting more higher better to hold it for long

This is amazing. Yes that depends on you what you need. If your need so to earn much more profits then it will surely come later and in that case long term investment in there to serve you. But on the contrary if you want to get daily profits or profits in shorter period of time, then absolve short term investment is best for you. It will keep your pocket healthy and wealthy.

Since bitcoin is better to be trade for long term, I choose long term. I'm not want to risk my money for nothing because as we can see bitcoin value still volatile until now so my suggestion, better to stay away for short term trading but if you still stubborn , just observe the chart and predict the next peak for your profit !

I think it's better to divide it into two halves, half for long-term investments and half for short-term investments. The goal that's short-term investments can be used while in an emergency (lack of money) while long-term investments can be used for the future in which a country's economy is certain to increase, so we are not surprised by it, because we had a savings from our long-term investment in the past.

Im very practical guy who will always try out thing after having some solid proofs. If you can see from the surrounding environment of the crypto currency the you will find that holding is always best choice of investment. The holding, well for long terms is the best investment. Just look at the current market, what do you think how much you could have earned if you would have invested earlier this year and held it for up until the year end. The whole 10 years would have passed easily for you that kind of wealth you could have earned. This is what happens to those who hold and the rest keep crying why they did not held for long terms.

Right now I am investing for the short term itself because the price is quite high and may fall a bit in coming days. So if it rises further will make some gains and sell it. And once the fall comes will buy for the long term or depending upon the situation how it goes. Just seeing prices it is getting difficult for any one to keep continuing holding it or should sell.

Actually, both long term and short term invest are beneficial depending on when you wanted to acquire the profit you have gained from the initial money you have invested. It is beneficial having a short term investment because you have an assurance and you know that you can easily acquire the investment you have made. In a long term manner, it is a good choice to have because having this can make your money grow into a larger quantity as time passes by. To be able to acquire good wealth, it is best if you have both long term and short term investments for assurance and security.

For me if the investment is worth of the longterm i will not hesitate to invest in it for sure. for example bitcoin if you know that bitcoin will be increasing it's price on the future why do you take it in a short term right.

Long term investment is more profitable than short term investment because the amount you placed in the investment will increase higher  in the future but long term investment is more risky than short term because you wouldn't know what will happen in the future. But with the trend that's happening in bitcoin price most likely it will still increase much higher.

Each type of investment either Short term or long term has their own benefits.
So it's some how conflicting to chose from.
I can't tell for others but for me, I think long term investment is best because of the high profit.
But the hard thing there, is that, you can't use your money for any means.
Which is why you always use money that you are willing to risk when investing in long term.
This is why in some situation, the short term investment is sometimes considered because of its emergency advantage.

Bitcoin system have a both long term and shot term in case of emergency situation based on the investment and time period and compare to sort term long term is more propital in long term compare to sort term is a so risky and to be able to bitcoin invester only  both long term and the sort term  .

Both long term and short term investment are beneficial but it depend upon you If you have enough currency and you can arrange an amount of currency that invest of that does not disturb your daily life need, then the long term investment is good for you because the long term investment will generate a high income and also the value of the currency will also raised which will give you some extra income. while with short term investment you can only get a limited profit.

What I have analysed so far (according to last 2 months cryptocurrency's movement) is that when Bitcoin is highly volatile or is continuously bullish, then one should prefer short term altcoin trading and only keep Bitcoin as long term investment. Bitcoin completely ruins altcoins when it remains bullish for longer period and that is the best entry point for investing in altcoins and best exit point is when Bitcoin is stable as happening now. If you are interested in long term hodling in altcoins, then only prefer large cap utility coins. Only such coins can survive in long term.

I think this is dependable. Every person have some different aspects in this regard. Some want to get early money even that is less or more they don’t care about it. Some are there in market that are waiting to get much more money but time don’t matter for them. They want this handsome money even it comes after year or more. So yes both are best ways, just matter what you want.

It depends on where you are most comfortable with, if you are able to manage both then you can do both long term and short term investments. Although I did try to do short term trading before and I personally think it is not for me, it wasn't really my thing to wait for how many hours staring at my laptop and wait for the highs and lows of the coin. That's why I changed it to long term and check on my coins from time to time.
