When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment

The only downside of longterm investment is that it will take time to earn profit but the thing is that, profit from long term investment is way bigger than short term investment.So the choice will be based on the perspective of an investor. Whether he/she will be patient to wait for long term or would engage to short term investment.

I think that it also depends on the temperament...someone is ready to invest one time, and then wait for long time for his profit...he likes anticipation...and someone is too emotional and expectation kills him, then he should work with short-term investments

a good investment usually takes the long term investment, because in a long term means that coin price is stable and you can believe in that coin fully, how about short term? i think people who invest in short term is have a good emotion in trading, because in trading you just hold the coin in a short term too,

For me I think both do give good benefits. In short term investment you can gain profit for less than a year but its risky as compared to long term investment. It needs proper verification to know that what we are going to invest is legitimate for us not to waste our money. So as to long term investment it needs more strategic planning in order to succeed on the investment you are going to put up with. Need more studies and some planning to make it up last for a long time and gain more profit from it.

I think it's just the same since the value of digital currency you are investing is volatile. It's value may rise before your slated time of your short term investment or may fall before your slated time of your long term investment has arrived. So if you are lucky enough on investing, then you can actually earn big profit even if it's only a short term investment.

Long term investment is more beneficial for me, the longer the period of time the higher profit. But it depends to the person if what he wants. Theres a person wants short term investment because he dont want to wait a long period of time to come back his money and theres a person who is willing to wait even it will take 5 to 10years of their investments.

Either short term or long term, you'll both gain profit so it doesn't matter that much. The purpose of investing is to have money when you need it in the future, so it will still end up of having money when you need it. It is just that the short term is smaller because it's invested for a short period of time, but if you invest on long terms, it's worth the wait

It depends on the coin that you are holding. If you have altcoins, I think it is better if you will do short term investment. But if you have bitcoins,I think it is better if you will do long term investment.

It depends on the coin that you are holding. If you have altcoins, I think it is better if you will do short term investment. But if you have bitcoins,I think it is better if you will do long term investment.  

There are some altcoins that also good for long term investments. Bitcoin right now is best for trading and holding.

Can you hold on without moving your bitcoin and convert it to cash in 10 years?

I think I can't 1 year for me is already a long term. After a year, I will decide what to do with my bitcoin, just like a job, I will decide if I have to sign another contract for years to come. My point is, if everything goes well, I might extend the years that I am holding my bitcoin, but everything is not okay, I will withdraw.

I'll take it as a criterion here, the money spent on investment.
If I am to earn money in the long term, then I have to make this investment with such a small investment. but then the graph between money and time becomes clear. If I need to deposit too much money and wait in the long haul, I do not look at it warmly.

Actually, Investment in long term is the best choice because the profit in it is continuous especially when  the price will growth after your investment and also when  you invest a big value of this currency.  Usually, before everything you should  know the expectations coming for the price. and you should  choose the best  successful currency to invest .

There are differences between short term and long term investments ofcourse. Short term investments here, where you don't stay long and immediately cash out your money to prevent it from being corrupted, hacked, or stolen. It is a good strategy. Keeping your money in your hands to be sure of what you invested into. While having it in long term can make it bigger but is unsure of what the circumstances would do.

Both can prove beneficial according to my concern depending upon the nature and potential of coin in which you invested and having patience.In short term you can sell at higher prices by analyzing the profits you earned and be on safer side whereas on the other side on long term you have to wait a lot and in this crypto market anything can happen within few days and we are talking about 10 years or so which is unpredictable and too risky but it can give unimaginable results if everything goes fine.So we cant exactly say which is better because profits and loss are part of both the investment and we have to choose wisely with skill and knowledge.

I prefer for the long term investment because I am aiming for my goal in the future specifically buying house on my own and to put up my own business to help generate income for my family and for the future as well and also for my retirement.

I bet that long term investment will be more benifitial to an investor since the profit from the investment is exoected to be big. But the only downside is waiting for a long period of time. If an investor is determined, waiting won't be a problem. Jist like in Bitcoin wherein investong for a long period of time is really promising.
