Yes long term investment is better for you because you will get huge profit and your future planing will more secure but if you need to some money so you can short term investment but you cannot all of your money cash out some of hold for better profit.

I think it's really upon to each person, as you say. The best option for me, might not be the best for you. We should always calculate what will be more benefical for us, the long investment return or the short investment return. Sometimes it's better to wait a little bit more to have a bigger financial return than investing for a short time period to earn low profit, and vice-versa. As OP considers a long term investment minimum 10 years, I think it's only adviced if the person has a decent source of income and isn't in financial needs often.

In my opinion, it is better to have both short and long term investments for you to be flexible in trading.

In short-term investment, you really need to get yourself always updated about the current news about Bitcoin or altcoins because you are awaiting for the price to pump up and then sell. Applicable strategy is to wait for the lower price to buy then sell once you are satisfied with your earnings.

In long-term investment, you can invest anytime you want to, since your strategy should buy coins and then hold until you reached the desired income. You need to know what are the stable coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, etc., for you to be secured about the stability of such top coins.

Moreover, just try to consider both coins for you to experience both strategies to become a good trader someday and be resilient about the future.

I go for long term investment. You cannot see the income of any business in a short period of time. More or less it takes 5 yrs before you can see the profit of your investment. You cannot grow your money in take in take out process. In business it should be long term

I have a lot of friends focused on short term investment and unfortunately it turned up to be not as good as they thot, so i go with long term investments, it is true that the money are stocked but at the end the profits are bigger then in short term investments.

I guess it is a short-term investment because we dont know yet what will happen and what is the future but hopefully it will be a long-term investment because we really need it. As of now we enjoyed a lot,  we enjoy the process of bitcoin as much as we follow the rules. Eventhough it is short-term atleast we discover the advantages that brings into our life. According to my opinion now a days long term investment is well then short term investment because
now a days price is not varying with high level graph due to which you will wait more for earning high profit as traders have done huge transaction in last few weeks due to which price is fall down and now again when they start investing then it will take some time because they will invest step wise so it take some time to increase graph of variation of price. For me i think it depends on your capital. If you have that great amount and any emergency cases that needs finances which will not sacrifice your investments then long term is pretty good but if you have limited resources then it is better to have short term ones.

Short term investment is good also for a quick profit even its not too high as my pay but it helps me for my kids needs. But if you want to hold it,its better because you will profit big amount if you wait for the price increase which is good value for you. While long term investment  is the greater profit but you have to spent a long time for work and effort. But the more you give time the more you profit so it's up to you where you are fit to do.

For me long term is an ideal way if you havent enough cash , and short term if you want a big profit and a little time only. But you have more cash to invest and put some in short term and invest a little in a long term . I invest some doge for longterm profit and i have bitcoin . I watching the movement of my holding coins and if i see a good profit, exchange it then buy another coin that have potentially going up. Thats my investment using my trading skill.

I would probably go to long term investment because as we can notice the more you keep it long the more you will gain profit. But I am not saying that short term wont gain profit. It just holding it for long term get more chances, and your investment value are getting higher as a time goes by. But always make sure that you will invest in a right place and you know what kind of investment you will get in.

It’s up to you which one you want to choose I will prefer short term investment instead of long term investment because it can give me a profit fast and there are a lot of people who want more profit from it so that’s why they want long term investment because as long as you keep bitcoin on hold so it will give you more profit but I like short term investment because its profit is also more than enough for me so do as you like.
