I'll take 2 of them:
https://blockchain.info/tx/2c9b551dfc95130e1cd856d725830f3504653c1c3ce3d0e1d88dac9bd47c345b

No idea what's there on the pad unfortunately Smiley.
Great, thanks Smiley I'll send them with the silver coins. Might need to ask you for additional payment towards postage as this takes your order to 8 oz (226 g) of metal Smiley

hmmmm, those could make an awesome 'paper wallet' if i manage to get a private key on the back of the coin. Is the back of the coin flat?
Tempted to buy 1 of those 1oz brass coins Wink
Unfortunately these are exactly the same on both sides...

Just an update on shipping from Mike:

The first shipments were prepared yesterday and are going out today.

Half-ounce coins: have produced enough to cover all orders so far - unless you have requested the old sticker, then I'll need a couple more days.  So far, 29 rolls have been sold.
Full-ounce coins: still working on these.  22 rolls have been sold: 4 are ready to go and are shipping in orders, another 9 are nearly done (one more laser step before they're ready to ship, and some of these will go out today), and the other 9 still need to be stickered.  These took some extra time: my 1BTC sticker doesn't quite fit, so I added an effect with the laser machine that adds a gold sparkle "trim" to the sticker by melting the edge, which also has the fortunate side effect of making the sticker smaller and therefore fit.  Programming the laser machine, tweaking the program, and making the tooling for this to happen set me back for time a bit.

Also have done an engraving batch of custom 2-factor bars yesterday, so if you're waiting on one of these, they'll be going out today as well.

So it might take a few extra days to get the coins here and to your hands.

There is no extra cost - the capsule is included for free (that's how nice I am! Wink )

I think the air-tite capsule is a good choice as the ring pushes out most of the air from the capsule and keeps the coin firmly in place (coins could move slightly in the plain capsules depending on the size).

I will be putting mine into the square quadrum capsules simply because I already have a small 1 oz silver coin collection in these capsules in a tray.

those squares are nice, but when I hold a coin, I want to have the feeling I have 'something round'  in my hand.
And indeed, seems logical that foam keeps the coin in place Smiley

So I'll go for option 1 Wink

edit: and thank you very much for the free capsule Smiley

I received an update from Mike (aka Casascius) regarding my order. Unfortunately it seems it will take a bit longer to receive it:

Code:
Petr,

Just writing to give you an update on your recent Casascius order.

I have posted to my blog at http://casascius.wordpress.com to give a general update on where the silver coin orders are at.

I anticipate shipping your order soon.

Mike

Your order is presently waiting on:
·         Production of 1BTC and half BTC coins

I've got the capsules already - I didn't order plain capsules in the end so your options are either air-tites or quadrum capsules (I'll have 6 of each spare).

From the product description of the air-tites: "The genuine Airtite rings are made from Volara and are completely free from PVC and other harmful chemicals ensuring your coins can be safely stored." Smiley

By the way, I'm going to include a few complimentary Casascius aluminium coins with every order as a thank you Smiley

Hi!

Can I buy some additional Aluminium coins? I maybe want to use some for custom made birthday presents (I would load them with a private key on the back)
If possible, I would buy 10 additional Aluminium coins Smiley

edit: if it's possible, name your price Wink

Sure thing Smiley I still have over 130 coins left to sell. They are just 0.04 for 10 coins: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235000.0

There's a payment address in the thread. Don't worry about postage, I will include them with your silver coin.

I ordered 20 aluminium coins: 0.08 BTC: https://blockchain.info/nl/tx/51715912ee46b23aba5a0ec4c2f80d87207f753a12fb21ce2a8504624799d4a2
They are so cheap, I just doubled my initial order Wink

edit: initially, I was willing to pay up to 10 EUR for 10 coins, so I decided that I'll order 10 additional ones (=> 30 total)
0.04 BTC: https://blockchain.info/nl/tx/4dcbdc378917881426a22be33018d1a2fcb0d174287ffc5763fd431865f154e7

I don't know the weight of 30 coins, so if I need to pay for additional shipping, just ask Smiley

edit2: now you have a round number of 100 left Cheesy

ok, i'll wait Smiley

Just hope my package arrives before 02/08/2013 because I wanted to create a 'birthday gift coin' with one of those aluminiums I ordered Wink
But it's not a problem if I give him the coin on a later date. It's a close friend so I see him often Smiley

I can post the Alu coins to you separately if you want - postage would be just 0.025BTC...
