Where is crypto kitties today? I remember this game. It succeeded in slowing and congesting the ethereum blockchain that year. I remember spending as much as $15 as gas fees just to conclude a transaction. It was a difficult time

This is an old game I used to play when it launched. The game allows you to purchase, collect, breed and sell several types of virtual cats. Literally, how you manage your cat will determine its quality and value when you want to sell. I got tired of playing it after a while though

This game is really awesome from critical point of view this game proved to be the first eth based dapp that showed the weaknesses, congestion and scalability issues in eth network which effected the growth of eth network but on a positive note it resulted in eth developers to become proactive and since then they are trying to address these issues and im hopeful this year will prove to be the year of complete eth network transformation and domination.

that's an excellent point, that's frankly been the best use for that game, as a testing ground for Ethereum's capabilities.

Having said that, there is a great market for more intellectual blockchain based games that are not childish money grabs but would reward

strategic and competitive game play like a top caliber RPG for example...

I am just seeing this thread but I most confess although it is a nice invention the ethereum blockchain was not ready for it at its launch.. The congestion it brought to the ethereum blockchain made trading on ethereum decentralised exchange difficult, I personally lost money and life changing opportunities as a result of this..
