Ripple was pumped this year to a ridiculous amount. last time i calculated the pump, it was about 7000% rise! it is not yet dumped down to the real price that it deserves (something below 1000 satoshi) and still resides in a big bubble a little more than twice of what it should really be.

when it reaches that bottom, it will be accumulated and in a couple of months it will have another big pump like it had this year and another one in December 2014 and another in September 2013. (2015 pump was tiny). but it certainly won't take until 2020 to get pumped again. we will surely see a pump in 2018 but XRP needs to get dumped and exit its bubble first.

Ripple is a great choice for long term holding. If you check its chart price rise to fast and price pullback did not happen. We may see a correction in the near future, During that time we should accumulate more xrp because price may rise $1 - $5 in 2020.

Agree, but I don't think so it would be an investment like bitcoin. The project is very good, it is obvious. But I don't see any special reason to buy ripple coin except the purpose to make profit.

If you did the counting this year then the min price in USD was about 0.006 in January and the maximum was about 0.36 in May. That gives it about 6000% rise, not 7k (though it's very big anyway). As for the recent pumping then I guess it has it's causes. The biggest one is perhaps American express going on ripple blockchain. I think ripple might have chances of going up even more.
Look at bitcoin, for intance. A couple of forks and bitcoin futures contracts news and we have btc going crazily up every day! Not to mention that it's problems don't get smaller. I recently saw an offer to pay $7 regular fee for a $150 transaction! People don't care about such things, I guess.

So far this year Stellar Lumens (XLM) has done a lot better price wise than Ripple (XRP) has and they both might have reached maximum value for now

I'm not sure about that. Ripple is trying to establish itself in the banking sector but it is not alone on that race. Stellar Lumens is "backed" by IBM and has the same potencial. You can say the same about IOTA, and I heard they have a partnership with Microsoft. Although they are more tied to the micro-payments market they could probably compete with Stellar and Ripple as well. I still hasn't read many things about Cardano, but maybe they are a similar coin. So I can't really say that ripple will be the chosen technology for the banking sector, because there are plenty of strong options out there.

Its true and most of people makes this mistake in trading. They do not take control in emotions and that is why most of people lost their money or make small profit.

Well many of us are aware that ripple is as you said but saying that a new ATH will be achieved in 2020 isn't exactly useful information. Every crypto that will be successful over the coming years will reach a new ATH and the only real thing that can stop the good coins such as ripple is if the whole market takes a crash but presuming adoption increases all good altcoins will reach a new ATH pretty much each and every year.

That’s why I’m buying them many times whenever I get the spare money to spend. The coin is cheap that’s what make it easy to invest. You can always add up 500 coins every other week easily and wait for it to grow.

I was not sure about it until last week when it suddenly started to grow big and shown up some +10-12% rise in the price. That’s very small though, I mean it moved from 0.22 to 0.28 with my exchanger.

However there is lot of chance that this beauty will grow all upto new heights of 1-2 USD real soon. I mean that’s hell lot of profit in first place, what they call it? Easy money!
