I think altcoin for 1$ price is too much risky, 1$ coins may be lost as the day increases in the market of cryptocurrencies, and definetely coins with cheap prices cannot last long

I think a criteria that rejects coins based on price is a little short sighted, as a coin going from $0.50 to $1 would have the same effect as a coin going from $5 to $10. And it may be hard to believe that coins may go up by $5 in price, but just take a look at Bitcoin. Who would have believed one bitcoin could cost over $10K a couple of years ago?

The current $ price is not crucial. The higher the total supply of a coin the lower is it´s price. For good investments with big gains you have to look at the ones with low market cap. To pick a good coin you also have to study the team and the roadmap.
