Joneskay, the fork is coming at block height 505888, (check here for block height, right now is 505176)  so that should be around Jan25 or 26

Make sure you're coins are at Yobit, Okex and/or Exrates, if you have your coins there, make sure you have enabled 2fa for security.

If you do these simple instructions, then those exchanges will automatically give your BitcoinAtom coins

ok?
yes, i have my BTC in Yobit, so all i have to do is wait

Is this already a functional decentralized exchange or is that the long-term plan for now?
what exchange are you talking about?

Excuse me if I was mistaken but reading the announcement I thought that one element of this project is some type of decentralized exchanges and atomic swaps?

it is posible keep the BTC and claim de BCA apart? how can we do it?

all you have to do is send your bitcoins to a new wallet after the fork and then use the private key for the bitcoin atom. then it doesn't matter any more. the only possible hassle might be if you're storing your seeds. you'll need to update them.

That block height is approaching fast to bring us another airdrop but good thing is what happened in all this period was Bitcoin Atom got attention and started to let others realize its coming into existence. I will hold them for some time to see the direction before selling them.

Fork is being expected in next 4 or 5 days but still not big announcements in support of this forked coin. I mean to say has the list of exchanges been finalized which showed interest even at back door channel to open trading markets for Bitcoin Atom after it will be released ?
