The project sounds amazing... but there is no code yet on github How about okex? When are we going to get 1:1 BCA there? It was announced that okex will also be participating? Is that right? Any ETA? Thanks

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Nothing scandalous at all, we have made it clear from the beginning that there will be post-mine, which is the only way to cover existing and future partnerships, bounty campaign and future development fund. I'm sure you as BCA holder will benefit more when the project is financially covered and therefore can grow substantially rather than project that is doomed to soon death due to missing funds. Thank you for your support, great things are ahead of us! Hummm no. @BitcoinAtom_support... You have nice website but you have convinced me and i have decided to sold all my BCA

Hummm no. @BitcoinAtom_support... You have nice website but you have convinced me and i have decided to sold all my BCA
Well, you should keep track of upcoming milestones: HTLC API scheduled for February and mainly AS toolkit scheduled for March
I wonder how many people have been robbed until March

Thanks It was said in telegram channel that OKEx were quite slow adopting BCA despite their previous agreement, so we're all waiting for the news on OKEx

Also you guys really need to come out with new names. There's already something out called "ATOM" so that just creates more confusion. Maybe "next time" BTC Emerald or BTC Ruby or BTC Hematite or BTC Ragnorok or BTC "MY Precious". lol
What I don't understand is how can this be "pre-mined" if the fork happened today?

it is not premined only post mine is going on but it is better that way than if they couldn't be paying devs and bounty hunters... I really love that name tho

I have Bitcoins, can someone please explain to me how this 1:1 fork works. I have been searching around and can't find info. What do I do with the block #? Eager to learn more.
Thanks

Although there was long marketing campaign about this fork but still supporting wallets have yo come in next days. Coinomi is famous to provide support for such forks and that most probably will be first among credible and secure wallets to claim your BCA coins.

Smells like Bitcoin Diamond so far...
PS the scam Twitter account now warns from the original as scam account. But maybe both are scams, a good way to collect private keys which are not empty...

you simplified it too much. I agree that if there is nothing solid behind the fork just saying "fork" and that's it, not good enough, it's worth nothing. however speaking of bitcoin atom i am really impressed with the features they offer. when they launch atom swaps the price will skyrocket..

Hope you understand better and it will work for you! I might jump in if it drops lower... but hey, I don't know. I stick to my previous comment for now. See what happens. Good luck to you and all those that are in already. Yes, there are tech stuffs such as Seg and atom swap etc implementation. Who knows? it may turn out to be the winner in the end. But if the project was say led by John McAfee instead of him lending his name for few vodka shots, I would say people would jump all over it. Don't know mate, we'll see soon.

There's a lot of confusing, contradictory and pessimistic/optimistic posts since the fork here. But not a lot of clear information.
Some of us here are new to the board and crypto in general. I just got a wallet and transferred BCT to it last night.
I was told yesterday that if you owned bitcoin, no matter where you have it stored, before the BCA fork, you could at some point once the dust settles, transfer it to a BCA-viable exchange or wallet (sending public and private keys) and receive the equivalent BCA.
Is this true or not? Can we all get on that basic info page 1st, from those who know to those who are noobs, about BCA? Because I don't for sure know what to believe thanks to some alarms being raised here about being cheated, or Atom being a scheme to rob us of keys, etc etc.
Someone earlier also suggested "sweeps" to me. I don't know what that means but want to learn. I have a good feeling about Atom but so far that's all it is, and not enough motivation to turn my private key over to a wallet that isn't even populated yet!
If anybody can point those of us who don't have enough knowledge yet in the right direction so we can learn credible info about how to navigate the fork turf , it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
