John McAfee Bullish on Bitcoin Price Reaching $1 Million by 2020.
He wrote in Twitter: "When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong."
Can yo believe this? What are your own predictions?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I'm not much good on predictions, but I think he can start eating his dick already.  He seems so much aggressive on bitcoin price, isn't it too much? For me 3 years is not enough for bitcoin to reach that kind of price, but I think his influence and predictions may bring a good impact on bitcoins community. Which is more better! |

Sounds a bit exaggerated but what do I know? Anything can happen with Bitcoin and we can see its value slowly rising lately. But if i have to offer my guess, I'd say 1 BTC would be valued at 100,000 by 2020.  |

John McAfee is a funny guy. He obviously has a not-so-hidden agenda, but at least it is good for bitcoin. I am not that optimistic, but I will let him have his fun.

I want to believe since that's a big price for bitcoin and everyone is expecting it to be more soon. Things can be changed with bitcoin but I want to see it happening with my bare eyes. Sounds a bit exaggerated but what do I know? Anything can happen with Bitcoin and we can see its value slowly rising lately. But if i have to offer my guess, I'd say 1 BTC would be valued at 100,000 by 2020. It's totally strange and exaggerated but it looks like McAfee knows what he's talking about and betting his own manhood for that prediction. |

Cough cough, Many factors that contribute the value of 1 bitcoin being worth 100 million dollars. Well Bitcoin is not just a local or gov owned store of value, its competing with Fiat currency all over the world, from USD, to the YEN. There are many factors I can shoot out but one major one is that Bitcoin is becoming mainstreamed and the fact there is probably going to be 16 million bitcoins in circulation, why I said 16 mil? because they are probably around 5 million bitcoins lost. If you want to add to this topic any more factors that reason why you are already sitting on a million dollars, please be free to do so. and he is right. Bitcoin is worth 10 million |

Well at least we have seen some side of him like that, The Optimistic type over confident what bitcoin can achieved in the future, I really think that McAfee right now was very popular in the kind of business he ever goes into and a successful on what he does best maybe his enjoying it to the full content of his career, and I think this speculation was really base on the sudden movement of bitcoin. |

$ 1 million is a very fantastic and huge figure, to reach $ 1 million at the end of 2020 I do not believe and my thinking has not reached that much, I estimate that by the end of 2020 bitcoin prices could reach $ 40000 and that's a huge number or price.

I don't know if John has any statistic or formula to support his prediction  I'm not saying that bitcoin wouldn't reach that price, but it seems like he is too aggressive in bitcoin price... |

Ya anyone will believe if understand the importance, system and value of generation/production of Bitcoin. Day by day this value is increasing. In crypto term its called as " mining". Bitcoin is a real proof of work based on SHA256 algorithm, which is decentralized, open source, safe, secure, peer to peer and can accessible with internet only. Increasing demand and current supply will definatelly increase value of bitcoin against fiat comparing to price for production of Bitcoins. As Day by day this price will increase as it depends upon block size, block height, block weight, block time, contributing hash power and rewards for solving blocks. If production cost of bitcoin will increase in future then definitely price of Bitcoin will also increase. I agree with John McAfee. But still depend upon community. Current interest of people can take bitcoin to that much height. And future implementation of Blockchain technology automatically increase value of Bitcoin. |

I don't see bitcoin reaching 1 million as mcfee said. Maybe $30-$50K but passing this is very difficult even for bitcoin. Many different things would need to happen worldwide and some currencies crashing etc...

Lol I can't see bitcoin market cap becoming 21 Trillion Dollars in 3 years....
I agree with the above, we are looking at 30-40k, if it goes mental, top end around 100k

John may be a little conservative, and it may not be possible to get to the price until 2020. As long as the bitcoin is at this rate this year, it will probably be $1 million in five years. |

He should start to know how the hell he will bend his body to reach his penis. he sure will eat his dick. That is somehow impossible for me. Bitcoin will have a lot of enemies with that number. Look at what is happening now, it havent even reached 100k dollars and yet there are too many fake coins going out with even the same name. Now they have values which divides the bitcoin investors. |

McAfee is clearly an optimistic dude and I like his attitude, but I don't think bitcoin will reach 1 mill by 2020. Bitcoin might touch 200k by 2020 and maybe reach the 1 million dollar mark by 2025 mainly due to the supply and demand logic. I might be completely wrong though and bitcoin might actually reach a million bucks by 2020, but I only see this happening if a good percentage of the world population invest in bitcoin which would help its value skyrocket.
