Hello, i've checked your pool today's night. I've config auto payout of GLX to gbyd7mo3Cc1yz2vH1M7SC27Mx8iEdqqdt3.
As i can see there was autosends:
3503   2014-01-02 23:48:09    Auto Payout
3501   2014-01-02 21:25:09    Auto Payout
3499   2014-01-02 20:55:11    Auto Payout
But, i still didn't receive cash. How long time takes transactions? Could you perform audit of my payments?

Thx in advance for your help and advice!

P.S. By the way - it's very interesting, but support's form doesn't work from pool side (it gives me error message, that mail to support cannot be send)

Hello! Owner of the pool here!

As far as I know, we actually haven't found a block... (http://galaxypool.zapto.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks)

If you did find a block on my pool, it must have been an orphan (which should have shown up anyways), As we do not have any transactions in the wallet, besides 2 manual transactions I made, to test sending and receiving

Proof: http://prntscr.com/2g2d5j

If you can show me proof that you did find a block, I'd happily send you a buck or two out of my pocket.

EDIT: forgot to mention, The client I'm running on the pool is an updated one I made, which I'm planning to release to the public, however, wanted to make sure it worked. If it can't find blocks, that's a problem... However, I think we've just been unlucky/low hash

I also have a no fee pool at http://galaxypool.chriskoeber.com.
galaxypool.chriskoeber.com is a scam pool! Or GLX network completely dead.
Yesterday I made a manual payment from that pool. Transaction completed but no coins received.
Also tried to check my giUBXUy1zcMRCrby7MdLxZrCPDZcGRXCWp via http://glx.webboise.com:2790/chain/Galaxycoin - the site is down.

I witnessed my cgminer scrypt say
BLOCK FOUND FOR POOL 0

3 times

As you said they may ALL have been orphans BUT they still should show as such.
They did not.

So something IS wrong.
3 orphans in a row is bad enough.

3 strikes your pool is out.
And the wallet problems
I must dump my wallet and manually add my back-up everytime I wish to make any transaction.
If I'm lucky and fast enough before it freezes or crashes and then must wait forever to reload block info.

Not an inspiring confidence building coin now is it?

and I was hoping to stake most..
But can't find instructions

3rd strike for this coin
Why mine when so many better alternatives?
SERIOUSLY
Wish I could support, like the coin, the name, the concept, but too many problems...

I see some folk minning at my pool (glxpool.digsys.bg) and are withdrawing coins. If anyone of you read here, please speak up if it works for you. Do the coins arrive at your wallets?
The pool runs the "buggy" wallet.

Ah, you were getting the "stratum from pool 0 detected new block" message, correct?  That simply means that a new block has been generated somewhere on the network, not within the pool itself.

As for wallet problems: your error seems very odd, and has not been happening to me, but I am working on an updated client to release to the public, hence my semi-takeover of galaxycoin.

Chris Koeber answered to me. Coins received after a long waiting. So it's not scam... but GLX network problems as I see Sad

I could hardly keep up with the difficulty of the coin if my wallet can't sync so solo mining seems VERY risky with this coin...

Well it's nice to see you post the follow-up; thank you as most people would just accuse folks and not admit they were wrong.

As for folks who either (A) have trouble syncing their wallets or (B) cannot get their coins from a pool to their wallets try this:

  • CLOSE your GalaxyCoin Wallet software.
  • Open your wallet directory which contains the blockchain and your wallet.dat file. On Windows the directory is here: %APPDATA%\Galaxycoin
  • Create a file named galaxycoin.conf in this folder. If it exists already, open it.
  • Add these lines to the file:
Code:
addnode=71.232.52.37
addnode=74.69.66.147
addnode=98.112.135.200
addnode=67.210.249.29
addnode=79.138.30.13
addnode=192.241.136.248
addnode=24.6.21.198
addnode=162.243.70.85
addnode=2.236.53.94
addnode=174.56.58.238
addnode=37.187.21.128
addnode=202.60.68.241
addnode=66.59.38.122
  • Save and close the file.
  • Reopen your GalaxyCoin Wallet. The Client should now sync and/or get your coins.

But, i still didn't receive cash. How long time takes transactions? Could you perform audit of my payments?

Thx in advance for your help and advice!

P.S. By the way - it's very interesting, but support's form doesn't work from pool side (it gives me error message, that mail to support cannot be send)

I think we've traded some tweets on this matter, but you might want to try the below. I've made successful withdrawals of GLX each time you've asked me if it is working, so it's definitely not a problem on the pool's end.

As for the support page--it's something we're working on, but that's why we have Twitter Smiley
