i am using mobile wallet. till now i am not experiencing any problem. now almost all mobiles are coming with fingerprint scanner. so ithink its safe. we can enable fingerprint also for security.

Its safe, but have to take appropriate preventive measures before using Bitcoin's wallet via phone. I would like to go more deep as these security measures are vary according to service provider. Holding Bitcoin will parallel wallets such as Blockchain coinbase and xapo gives facility to operate with any platform as desktop as well as app wallets. Using 2FA is must to access such wallets online via apps or web.

well wallets like coinomi and mycelium are pretty safe because they don't control your wallet like mycelium that is connected to the bitcoin network directly and don't need an email address to access your wallet all you need is passphrase to recover your wallet in case you don't remember your password unlike coinbase that needs an email in order to sign in although 2fa is needed now in exchanges like coinbase but overall you safer in mobile.

But it would seem to me that having a secure offline savings account coupled with a hosted mobile bitcoin service (checking account) for payments would make sense. If you are using Trezor hardware wallet then I don't think there is any issue even if there is a virus on your mobile device. However, when it comes to the use of web wallet's mobile version then it's as risky as using web wallets because of extreme secure environment, your database (of private keys) is still at risk on the server side hence it is recommended to maintain less than 5% to 10% of your overall funds to avoid huge loss in case of any accident/incident.

It based on the wallet.I think it is not a safe to holding more bitcoin into mobile.. because every applications will not avert from virus.. Some applications may cause some virus and your mobile may affect of them..I also agree some wallets are cozy to use and it prevent from online problems such as blockchain and so..

Android is safe to causing this problem..If you had android phone just you can hold some bitcoins only..But the most safest way to holding a bitcoin is the computer..because the system has antivirus format so we can clear it to anytime..

Clearly, when we talk about bitcoin(not just about bitcoin but also every other crypto currencies out there), we can say that it is both completely safe and very unsafe at the same time. Just think of it as another possession - if you do not know how to take care of it, it will be broken, or if you do not know how to keep it safe, you can really lose it and vice versa.

So it would be logical to only transfer just enough bitcoins and a little extra on a mobile wallet. Rather than trust all of your possessions in the hands of other people. Because there will always be exploitable flaws in any security.

I am currently working through my mobile phone and I made accounts in bitcoin and ethereum in mobile app. But I trust bitcoin wallet since it is reliable by other people. Some said that it is not hackable because it is secured. In my country, coins.ph app is also reliable bitcoin wallet.

Bitcoin wallets in phone is not very safe but the security level has been increased over the past years.Like they added 2-factor authentication so you need verification code to authenticate the transaction,so mobile wallets like blockchain is completely safe for storing small amount of bitcoins.I think coinbase wallet is not safe because many users reporting that unauthorized transaction happened in recent days so it is better to use blockchain wallet in mobile then your bitcoins are safe.
