If you ask me! I will refer to you this two coin. First is NEO, it is runs an improved version of Ethereum's algorithm, and was designed for small contracts to manage digitized assets. NEO's value has doubled since December and with further network distribution this month, investors are feeling optimistic about its strengthening position. Second is the Ox (ZRX) was designed for ERC20 tokens that have been deployed on top of existing Ethereum blockchains. Ox's main features include providing increased security as well as upgraded Ethereum blockchains.

But this is only recommendation it is still up to you what coin will be you choose. In my opinion conduct own study about best altcoin to be invest this year.

Etherum and especially dogecoin  has a high existence in crypto. if you want to invest in a low budget it would be better to invest in dogecoin, dogecoin has a high enough interest from year to year.

I like the work being done by EOS's development team. Their ICO is still going on and after the ICO EOS and it's own blockchai could be a huge one. Also there's Waves with its own decentralized platform and exchange can be a good investment right now.

I am more inclined to XLM or LITECOIN because both coins have good fundamentals than coin-coin that I observed others so that's probably my advice and could be a reference

I still prefer to much dependable and stable altcoins no other than ethereum and litecoin. This two altcoins are way above than other altcoins because of their capabilities to sustain and to grow at the market. Especially at ethereum that many project ICO's are using their blockchain ERC20 for their transactions. Litecoin also has good technology easy and fast but most of all they have loyal followers and supporters that's what make them stable at the market. Better to choose this two altcoins at your investments, they are proven and tested to sustain even dumps at cryptocurrency occurs.

Monero, Monero, Monero.

Originally I would probably say Dash and Monero, but Dash has already had its run two weeks ago Dash would pause at current level for some time before advancing again. But Monero! Monero is still lacking behind BTC but a lot and if you look at its history you could be guaranteed its price would only rise against USD, very quickly, for sure!

Every other coin is lacking and will always lack behind against BTC. Why would Monero be better than, for example, zcash or eth?

Tbh i think best thing to do is to look up any around the 1$ coin and invest in all. Only one has to rise to +250$ like monero did or zcash and eth and your set.

IMHO, Monero is better than ETH because Monero emphasises on anonymity while ETH is more like an ICO participation ticket.
Monero is slightly better than Zcash because monero is in top 10. My personal advise is, mainly focus on the top 10 coins to avoid too much risk.

as far as I see a project that will have a good future ahead of it is the ICO that will deliver their products because Monero is still behind the BTC and,
You can be guaranteed the price will go up against USD, but that does not mean that they are profitable

There are other coins other than bitcoins, the next altcoin are Ethereum, ripple, waves, litecoin, NEO and so on which are good investment options and there are chances for these crypto currencies to increase its value as time passes due to good demand and every day new investors are entering the crypto market. compared to bitcoin all the altcoins have lower transaction fees with increased transaction speed and market capitalization is extendable.
