I agree that there are more women involved than people realize; They simply do not put their gender forward and centered, though not visible.

The way it is. Recently I read that most of China's crypto-currency traders are women. I can not even explain the reason for this phenomenon. Do Chinese housewives spend their free time at home using a computer? Very versatile Chinese women.

Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.

What do you all think?

https://moneyish.com/ish/all-the-reasons-why-women-can-be-the-future-of-cryptocurrency/

In this business there are absolutely mo discrimination because our identity can be secured if we wanted to. Buy the lack of women in this business doesn't mean that they are not that capable of doing this kind of stuffs. They can actually there are no boundaries in this thing. The thing is women tend to not to trust thus bitcoins because they are much more emotional that us so that i think affect the reasons why women are much fewer than men when it comes to cryptos but i am looking forward that more women will be involved next year in this thing.

That is true. I have encountered a few teenagers in this space. Very intelligent ones. In some cases I assumed they were adult and only found out after some positive interactions how young they were.

Yesterday I attended a blockchain summit, and you couldn't be more right- out of about 1000 people, only like 20-30 were women. Plus, all speakers were guys. I even heard someone saying that we will not trust a crypto advice given by a woman. Amazing.

there may be many, but not just published by them, so we do not know what he is a woman or a man
because it is very rare to discuss gender in the cryptocurrency industry
well his ordinary men dominate in the cryptocurrency industry, but many women though not as many men

Women do not take much risk that's why they do not show interest to know about this cryptocurrencies. And i tried to explain about bitcoins to my sisters and some of my friends. They listen, and later they told not understand a single word. This is what we will get a reply from women if you try to explain them.

That's right to some extent, because there are women who wish to take risk and earn through the same. Here all that required is the interest to learn, without which however hard we explain it could never been understood. Right now men might be found high, soon we can see more women users than Men!!

There are probably fewer women traders but it's no secret (proven by research) that women are far superior to men when it comes to success in trading  Wink

Day trading - 40% success rate for women with only 4-10% success rate for men.  90% of men lose money trading.

There were almost zero women in the old times. Now the number of women is increasing drastically in this sector. They also learnt a lot from the internet and visual media. These are all good things for the development of the society.

That's interesting that statistically women do better with day trading than men. Since trading is a bit easier in the cryptospace women could do fantastic in that regard. I know I've made a few good trades that I'm still proud of, though I don't day trade.

With that said, both men and women can easily make the mistake of believing that cryptocurrencies is little more than a trading, speculating game. It's actually a lot more than that. There is a lot of innovation and plenty of opportunities for work and collaboration on some very interesting projects. Many of these projects pay generous bounties. That's a less risky way to accumulate cryptocurrencies, in my opinion. Of course, you can also trade the coins you earn for ones you like better.

I can prove by my example. I'm a girl and I love the world of crypto. It sounds proudly. Moreover, I can say with certainty that I understand this matter, since I like it very much. I think that there are a lot of women and men in the crypto-currency industry. We should not discriminate people though gender identity.

Come on, like Seriously we are living in the 21st century both men and women enjoys equal rights everywhere than why not cryptocurrency. Technology should be used by each gender so that it evolve faster and reaches to everyone. Women forms an important part of the ecosystem, Bitcoin helps to sustain anonymity of gender, hence we are unaware of the percentage of men to women. But I strongly believe that they also plays an important role, for example many ICO's generally have men under their development team but you will usually find few girls also their. And it clearly indicates that the opposite gender is also working with us in this industry.

I don't think it's a question of rights, really. But it has been interesting to read over the various opinions here. There are some men who think women have nothing to contribute here, but I'm sure they are in the minority. I personally have not encountered a single problem with entering this space. I had to educate myself and connect with others who are smarter than I am. That's true pretty much everywhere.
