Women in the cryptocurrency industry

Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.

That is right too. But I think that doesn’t matter wherever they use, it’s up to them. Main thing is that there are open chances and opportunities for all women and men to use this bitcoin. Everyone can use computer and have internet access to that’s up to them now whether they find some time off their house jobs and office work and give it to bitcoin. Good for them too.

I agree. There are plenty of opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry for men and women, and even older children and teenagers.

There is a very huge numbers of women who are using bitcoin because a lot of women’s they are house wife’s and they are busy with their work and bitcoin is a really helping them because it’s a digital currency and its only available on internet and hey can earn from bitcoin easily and that income is very helping them in their social life and they are going to spend this money on different things such as in their house and also for their expanse.

Not many women deal with crypto-currencies, but I personally know a few. As practice shows, the results for women are lower than for men, but consistently stable. All because of the fact that women are less at risk. Men are more inclined to risk!

Women have more patience not like men. When it comes in trading, women is careful from taking the risk not like men that has fast decision when taking the risk. Women can  earn and knowledgeable in bitcoin like men. There is no discrimination when it comes to gender, we are all finding jobs that can give stable income.

In this industry, I don't think that women are more than than men. And maybe you're right that some women here are just hiding their true identity through their username which is possible. But still, my suspicion is that maybe half of this community are women and then half are men. And I don't really believe some people saying why are there few women on bitcoin, because I think, men's and women's population here are almost equal.

Agreed. I just think this industry is male-dominated and the environment can be hostile. I see far too many men harassing women through the DM's. As this community grows, we have to be open to women and not belittle them. We are not in the 1600's anymore. They have just as an important role as men if not more.

Cryptocurrency does not depend on whether the user is male or female, but it is true that you say if it is currently dominated by men. If women can be more open minded and use their logic (mostly concerned with feeling) to learn about cryptocurrency, I'm sure they can also be successful. Well, this world is dominated by women, imagine if they also dominate cryptocurrency, surely the market will be more crowded.

In this industry, both women and men have been simultaneously engaging themselves to a lot of activities. I don't think that there's a legit way to  calculate the number of involvement of each gender.

Regardless of gender, every industry can be empowered and successful if its people are collaborating and uniting. Today, gender inequality and other issues should be put to an end and let every one of us be equal.

I have to agree with you on that. In a Testosterone fuelled world, the men likes to fight for dominance and to be the pack leader. They tend to brag and force opinion on matters in public and the women just stand back and leave them to fight their battles.

I have seen some strong women in our local Bitcoin meetups, but men just dominate the scene with their aggressive ways. This type of behaviour chase women away from these interactions and we are left with a Testosterone filled room in the end.

You would be amazed to know how many women are loaded with bitcoins, but just do not brag about it like men do. ^smile^

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are completely different form of investment where it requires a person to read and work hard in order to study the ecosystem. There are so many risk involved with cryptocurrency investment while women are not good at handling risk. There are way to many ups and downs in the cryptocurrency industry that a lot of women cannot handle. I think some games are only made for men to play that is the reality.

Women can adopt a lot of things and they are flexible so I think more and more women will get into cryptocurrency. There are also advisors in ICo who is women but there are few. Once crypto get mainstream more and more women will get involved here.

although there are a few women in the cryptocurrency industry, I think if we check in the ico there are many women that getting involved in the cryptocurrency and they get a good position in the project. and besides that, I am sure that in the exchange, we can see that there will be many of them is women and they could make a profit too like what we did. and today, I think we are going to see that there are many women that will make a contribution to many projects.

Now a days many women's are involving in this crypto world. I also knew few women's who are good knowledge of crypto currencies. They work very hard and generates good income from here to fulfill her dreams and also her family dreams. Even they are more successful then men. But they don't want to come in open industry. Agree, a lot of women are involved and interested in crypto currencies. I think it is not about men and women, every educated person who gets knowledge about coins might be involved. It is the are where people can get benefit, and both men and women are motivated to earn more.

If there is any place where women could ever hope for equal funding opportunity, it would be in the crypto world.

Please help and support these women. Please don't block their bitcointalk topics, reddit accounts, copycat their projects, hack their websites, hack their emails, leave bad comments, or do other things to block their projects. Please guide and support them instead. Above all, please help promote and fund their projects.

Women lead projects may not sound as grand as men lead projects, but are often more practical, and could be great for long term investments. Women's projects quite often focus on people, especially those who need help most, children, seniors and communities. The money invested in women lead projects may spread wide, last a long time, and generate abundant returns in time.

I think there is no discrepancy of what gender would be in crypto.A women or a men was welcome to support cryptocurrency,as long they can help and benefit us and working by it.As long they are open minded and willing to earn ,i think women are more resourceful and creative.

Yes women is good to be participate in this industry like bitcoin is good and open for all the people like it is not specific for the genders. Female are free at home they can do more than the male in this industry and bitcoin is the digital currency they can do shopping through this online currency so i think it is good to introduce and motivate female to the cryptocurrency industry.

Bitcoin won't care about the gender. Anyone can invest in it as long as they know what they are dealing with. Honestly, I will be so amazed if I run into a woman who is interested in bitcoin. Normally men are more interested in bitcoin than women but few women's are just learning and gathering knowledge to get involved.

In our place most of the womens are in bitcointalk because they have no job, and here's bitcoin gives income to the woman's in our place. Now their husband are happy because they help their husbands for their needs.
