I know it's time to sell my altcoins when it's December 2017 lol But at these low prices I'm not selling anything. I think when ETH is back to an $800 level then maybe tokens will be worth selling.

The first thing you should do in Crypto is to control your greed because in the greed you can lose all your profit and also your investment so before initiating the trade do all the calculation that how much profit you want from that trade and when the time come close the trade and enjoy the profits if the market goes more up don't be sad because other trades will come which will give you more profits.

I will sell it if I need money or if I have reached the amount I like.
But if it is the alt-coin that I invested, then if it reaches the price I set to get a profit or price where I will cut the loss.

time to sell of course when it's getting the profit from the market. Don't be greedy in this because it will give a bad impact. keep the distance between the buying and selling do not be too far away to be sure it will be safe. many are too ambitious still wanted to get some more but eventually fell into the abyss.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.
I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%. Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.
Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.
If my investments have grown well that the value exceed to the price that I've invested then its time to sell to make profit.After that i prefer to buy another coins to be hold inorder that i have some long term investments. |

actually we have to know where the lowest price and the highest possible price so we can sell the altcoin assets that we have right. we have to make the lowest price for us to buy and the highest price so we can sell, so when the price has reached the target we made we can take action. |

All still bounce on TA which will show you how and when the up and down trend is about to happen and this makes it more easy for those that read chart to know when to buy and sell and the reaction gives the market a trick of what next to become of it.

i think the value will exceed that, so we have to wait. indeed it will take a long time, but i think if we are patient the results will be according to what we will think. so stupid if we sell it now, because prices are weak. |

I can find out the right time to sell my altcoins with active monitoring that I do. When I found the price had exceeded the purchase price, at that time I had made a profit. I will sell it when I am satisfied with achieving the profit of the coin, and when the crypto situation is safe and supportive for making transactions.

when my target has been reached, or when the market is experiencing a bear market, I will most likely be short-term trading, for trading, the minimum target of 20 percent is enough, don't be too greedy, because greed often makes us lose a lot. but if you hold a long-term hold waiting for 100 percent it doesn't matter. 10-30 persen maybe it's good target for short term
at least set the target indeed required in order to have a clear goal when to sell. If only continues to pursue the increase without limit then this will backfire loss for yourself. many are getting too greedy and finally suffered a loss and should be used as a lesson to determine the time to sell. |
