I did some investigating and there was only one person on Ypool that found a block around that time. The address didnt match their name so its not them. I think it was someone who was solomining that found the chain. I know from talking in ypools chat that someone has probably found 11 and 12 chains.

The new Cunningham chain of length 13 is very imressive!

I already updated the Cunningham chain record list.

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/Cunningham_Chain_records.htm

And Jens also updated his list for Simultaneous prime records:

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/simultprime.htm

Henri also updated his BiTwin record page end of August:

http://www.primenumbers.net/Henri/fr-us/BiTwinRec.htm

If only there was a optimized GPU miner, then the records would really start dropping like flies.

I updated the Cunningham chain record list three days ago:

http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl522332/math/Cunningham_Chain_records.htm

Again Primecoin improved the records for Cunningham chains of length 10 and 12.

The Datacoin network has also produced several notable top prime chains. While there are no records, some chains make it to the top three. The difficulty is still below 10.

So Datacoin is also helping with those mathematics? I was asking myself about that because it is a fork it may not help with that work...

Yes, Datacoin does the same work. The risk of duplication is probably negligible.

A TWN of length 13 has been found : http://primecoin.21stcenturymoneytalk.org/index.php?block_height=340499 origin of 105 digits ! That is one to put in the record books.

For those interested, I've programmed a bot to screen the blockchain for new record breaking primechains. You can follow it on twitter https://twitter.com/OldEee_Miner. Apart from record primes it also tweets about the price and it's own (really, really slow) mining efforts.

Thanks . I just got to know from the page that even for a 13-chain the difficulty is still 10.

The first number is the length of the chain; it describes how many primes the chain consists of. It is conjectured that there are infinitely many chains of any length. The second symbol denotes the type of chain. 1CC and 2CC are Cunningham chains of different kinds, while TWN is a bi-twin chain. The following list of numbers tells how many digits the largest starting primes have.

Can we place here the records from Datacoin blockchain?

I think that would be reasonable. Below is a comparison between all known Cunningham coins.

Code:

           XPM    DTC    BEK    CDN

 6  1CC    --     --     89     99
 6  2CC    134    90     91     96
 6  TWN    97     84     89     96

 7  1CC    244    100    104    103
 7  2CC    208    103    103    112
 7  TWN    268    99     105    98

 8  1CC    167    103    109    106
 8  2CC    183    106    106    112
 8  TWN    172    110    108    106

 9  1CC    151    115    107    108
 9  2CC    167    115    102    108
 9  TWN    163    114    103    108

 10 1CC    146    109    101    109
 10 2CC    137    108    101    105
 10 TWN    138    112    100    105

 11 1CC    140    103    96     100
