I am looking for the price of currencies, not  their amount. As for me 2017 was the real year of alternative cryptocurrencies on the Bitcoin destabilized background. I don’t think that the 2018 will be the same.

It's obvious different gan if any coins that have the advantages and disadvantages of each so future lest we wrongly choose a coin today, as more and more new coins coin

Agree. 2017 was undoubtely a year of ICO and Bitcoin, but 2018 will be the rise of altcoins cuz most people cannot afford buying BTC, so they will stick with ETH, EOS and others.

But I think only few ones will be in x10 or x100, and only altcoins with a big project and real use. It's impossible to see +1000 altcoins in x10 and all projects being successful.

I don't think if it will be the year of altcoins. Well, there value is unpredictable and there is possibility but for me even it will be the year of altcoins or not as long as it is profitable enough even its not a huge amount its ok for me. I believed that some altcoins will increase there value as the users and investors will continue to support there different advocacy.

Honestly, every year is the year of the alts. This whole thing is uncharted territory, and its a gorgeous thing!

The BTC true believers arent wrong, but neither are the altcoins. Especially because of the sheer innovation thats going on in the space.
All it takes is one breakthrough and it will bring us into the whole next level IMHO

I believe it will be the yeat of Ethereum, Litecoin and might be Bitcoin as a grandpa of all crypto. Also, some of the ICOs will provide their products, and those who will gain traction, will grow more. Smth like Request Network or Blackmoon Crypto

The Altcoins Coinbase will list on GDAX etc will definitely increase exponentially in value 

Any predictions as to which ones will be there?

I believe it will be Ethereum and Litecoin year. BTC will lose its positions by all means, cause there a lot of new technologically better projects happened, and they will push BTC hard. Like Ethereum does.

There is such an ebb and flow with BTC to ALT coins.  I feel I've got a pretty well rounded Alt coin bag, but seems like a few times a month, it has huge gains vs BTC, then it drops again.  Are there any strategies to swap into BTC (leave the ALTs) then swap back?  Or I guess it's just a shot in the dark.

I made x14 on Ethereum so I see no reasons why 2018 won't be the year of the altcoins. I believe that investing in top-15 coins will bring you nice benefits, as well you can try lower ones but it might be too risky.

depends on what happens to bitcoin. There is a speculation that bitcoin may pop next year and therefore affecting the alts. But hopefully, the continues growth of alts will happen specially eth since they are becoming more active now more than ever.

I guess what is happening right now is BITCOIN is introducing the masses to cryptocurrencies in the form of bitcoin of course, now as soon as these new adapters learned about other coins they will surely get curious about it and buy bags of them.

 I think the next year all altcoin market remain up trend because many people are investing in many cryptocurrencies project.People are underdtanding abount cryptography so I guess next year will be bright for all altcoin.

All we can do now is to be hopeful for that. There is no sure assurance here. But I believe in some altcoins  but maybe not as much as 100x. What we can do now is to study the most promising altcoins and invest some. Maybe in 2018 or in the future, we will taste the fruit of what we planted. Good luck to all of us mate.

2018 is like where the shell that keeps all the cryptocurrency away from the outside is now cracked and broken where everyone worldwide can now see them. I'm very excited too and very impatient for my coins to go lambo.
