Yes, I think the same with you but disagree. I am thinking of buying a coin ALT now because it is down drastically. Of course the cause is Bitcoin who keeps going crazy. But it's not wise if you buy now because Bitcoin still keep pressing the coin ALT and you better wait until the turn of the year to see what happens.

I think this is a good time to buy those alt coins. When all the alts going red and bitcoin going green, it's the signal to buy some alts.

They aren’t dying. The top altcoins have done extremely well this year. They are a little down this week but still very high priced. I think part of the reason why they are slightly down is that it is a small correction. Another potential reason is that money is being taken out of altcoins to go into Bitcoin right now and in Iota a few days ago. This coins have been pumped up a lot this week and Monero as well.

i don't agree with the idea of mate that now to do investment in bitcoin only but we need to investment our money in some various places like bitcoin and some altcoins also because some altcoin are very good and have giving better result like etheruem and all altcoin are not dying but some altcoins are going dying while some altcoins have good life like ethereum.

When the spotlight is on bitcoin, majority of all the altcoins starts to bleed. And I think this will continue until the end of this year. It's sad to see this but on the bright side, this is the perfect chance to buy potential and promising altcoins. You can take advantage of this and buy what you think will be the profitable ones. Then just wait for the correction on bitcoin's price. Bitcoin's price will definitely fall. Have seen this many times. When the correction comes, all of the altcoins will start recovering back. And this is when you'll make your profits.

This all boils down to risk assessment and management. The general decrease in many altcoins is due to the fact that people are dumping them to buy BTC in order to have some additional forked coins when that time comes.

But investing heavily in BTC is not a risk free bet. I believe BTC will rule the market for many years to come but I'm not 100% sure the present value is not a bubble.

Therefore, I'm keeping my altcoin investments because I believe they will survive this storm. The global crypto market is still in it's infancy and as global acceptance grows, so will the use of altcoins.

No I think due to rise in bitcoin prices altcoin are going little bit up because people who are mediocre cannot afford bitcoin and for this reason they are investing into alts so that they can earn good but the reality will stay same that bitcoin will stay on top and world will be in favor of bitcoin so mainly rely on the bitcoin which has everlasting future and perfect profit rates altcoin will never give that what people got from bitcoin.

Altcoin always look this way, most of the time opposite when bitcoin increases (not all but majority of it). Favourably, it’s the best time to buy and that is the advantage of it. But the title seems not accurate because altcoin is not dying. It will not because those can’t afford to hold bitcoin will go and invest on alternative coins.

I see this king of post any time this happens in the market: bitcoin up/altcoins down. This is not the first time this happens. It`s a normal thing and newbies panic sell and then complain about how crypto is not making them rich over night.
How can anyone expect that theyre investment will only go up. Of course it will have a few bumbs over the road but if you are in it for the long therm you will see the profit. Crypto isn`t a think that makes you rich over night because if it would be there would be "to many " millionares.
Patience and never sell in a time like this. The maket will recover. It always does.

Some altcoins price now are getting bigger and bigger, so I don't think that this time altcoins are dying. Hence, all crypto currency now in the market are seems healthy and continue fluctuates. Also in my speculation some alternative coins price was depending to the movement of bitcoin in the digital world.

I think when digital era comes most of the crypto currencies are become popular to all people and to all nation. I hope that it will happen in the future.

Now is the time to buy and hodl those alts, sooner BTC will decrease again. It's just cycling and that's all, they are not dumping rather they are afraid to lose it all and selling before it will be worthless. Now those who have money (whales) will buy those alts at low price.

It all depends on what altcoins you are invested in and buying. I have seen a couple gain twenty percent over the last twenty four hours as we have seen a pull back in the Bitcoin price. This is how it goes, whales will now pump alts for a few days to make their new weekly profit before Bitcoin gets pumped and dumped for another session, so they can get their fiat bags. Yup trade market is like this if one coin is dying another coin will be in increasing. Look at waves, Iota, Bitsend and others coins are in peak last few days. We have many good altcoins in the market depends on the time it will increase. So whenever the price drops just wait for a good time.

This is happening all the time when Bitcoin is setting a new all time high, it’s a high risk to trade any altcoin paired with Bitcoin. By this reason I started trading altcoins paired with usd(t) and patience is the key to success.

Altcoins are facing serious problems due to the sudden rise of bitcoins value and it keeps pumping. Many transactions are affected due to this cryptokitty  I don't know why until now the problem still not being solved. All we really have to do right at this moment is to wait and let them troubleshoot the existing technical issue.

Given the fact that bitcoin is rising very quick, I'm sure that there are investors who doesn't want to miss and immediately jump on the bitcoin and most probably have dump their altcoins in favor of the most lucrative coin that is - Bitcoin. But I can't say that altcoins are dying, altcoins has also enjoyed impressive increase this year, and if not for the China ICO banning news, altcoins could be enjoying a much better year this 2017. Bitcoin just gained this interest again, because of all the offerings regarding bitcoin future contracts. But when everything settles and everyone go back to their rational, I think they will go back to altcoin market as well. So for me they are not dying, just taking a small break, they will have their time to shine in 2018.
