The reasons you have given are not enough to call it a scam. Bitcoin's success and its shortcomings are the major reasons why all the other coins exist in the first place, so calling it a gimmick means the other coins are also gimmicks.

Bitcoin's price is surging high due to wall street companies entering it and the very high media exposure its getting nowadays.

I don't know which sites have problem in sending and receiving bitcoins.

Exchanges getting hacked could not be mentioned as a problem of bitcoin.If only bitcoins in our wallet gets hacked,we could see it as a serious issue.

BITCOIN is NOT a scam coin, The reason is BTC is very very bullish and there is NO proof that BTC is a scam! Yes, there's a bit of people who are making BTC to MLM.

No one forced you to buy bitcoins and it up to an individual because it is their hard earned money so they can decide where they want to invest.

But I don't think that Governments can control these bitcoins because not everyone going to sell so that one or two guys can control bitcoin prices. Now there are plenty of people are holding bitcoins. Since prices went up a lot so we can expect some correction in short-term after all those new features launches.

because of the jam you said Bitcoin turned into scam coin while basically it did not take anything from you.
the transaction very slow due to traffic and of course the fees itself.
i sent a quite many Bitcoin lately using 100.000 satoshi and i got this for only around 2 hours or less than that.
it's all about the transaction fees and the traffic itself not because of 'Ponzi' or something like that.

so what is the relation between Bitcoin and them ?
it's their mistake and their problem with their security not because of Bitcoin.
they get hacked due to hold a lot of Bitcoins in their wallets,
because of that the hacker targeting their system to get a lot of money in return.
it has nothing to do with Bitcoin at all.

Everything that has happenned looks a scam Firstly the bitcoin is all popular for its decentralization if the decentralization is wiped off bitcoin then who will want to use it and wait several days to receive their GOLD.. It has a problem and the problem in their outdated source has never been able to retrieve And making it now a centralized currency has made bitcoin a failure in terms of its aspects what it promised to be..
I am not buying the idea of thinking it will become 1 million USD when the main motive has been wiped off bitcoin what remains is the cover of a new technology that happens to have issues REST FAILS

Did I just read that right or were you really calling BTC a centralized currency. Who says that Bitcoin transactions are taking over 24 hours ? You should put enough fees to make the transactions done on time. You can call high fees an issue but not delayed transactions as that depends on the amount of fees you put on for the transaction.
For example : you can't just put 10 sats per byte as the fee and wait for your transaction to be confirmed within minutes. I just did a transaction last night and it was done by when I woke up.
The increase in price of BTC is becuase many big investors are buying BTC these days and the fact that supply is limited to 21 million BTC is surging the price more than it should. Stop calling BTC a scam and do a proper research. I do accept that are issues with BTC but then they can be solved with proper attention and support from people.

Bitcoin is not a scam coin, it's actually the first crypto coin that was created that made use of a blockchain. It's the technique that every other altcoin uses to make their currency decentralized. If you think that Bitcoin is a shitcoin, then you shouldn't use any other coin because these are just copies of Bitcoin. Yes it's true that Bitcoin faces scalability issues but Bitcoin developers have found a solution for it, which currently being developed called the 'Lightning network'. Although you're not right about the altcoins being better because these coins don't have to handle the extreme amount of transactions Bitcoin has. Some coins might have increased the block-size but that doesn't really solve the problem permanently, it's just a way to handle the current flood of transactions temporary. This increase also brings side-effects with it, like more centralization which is basically the opposite of what Satoshi intended his currency to be.

Bitcoin transactions maybe slow due to more number of pending transactions but it will be resolved in a day or two,so it is not a good reason to say it is a scam coin,if you think it is scam just stop using bitcoins.Bitcoins price is reaching new high due to the upcoming fork so all the people are selling their altcoin to buy bitcoin which causes demand for bitcoin.
I never faced any problem with bitcoin exchanges and wallets,if your wallet being hacked you need to keep your bitcoins in a software or hardware wallet then it is impossible to hack your wallet.

It is not a scam coin. But recent upward trend is quite unnatural. Within a month or two, it has gone from 3k-4k to 15k. Nobody expected such an abnormal growth.

Everybody should start using segwit addresses, you'd pay a lot less fees that way.
Also, hopefully lightning network will come pretty soon, then we'll pay even less fees than we are with just segwit addresses.

There are a couple of wallets that support segwit, though I don't think any mobile wallets do yet (IOS & Android) But correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know which locales have issue in sending and accepting bitcoins.
Trades getting hacked couldn't be specified as an issue of bitcoin.If just bitcoins in our wallet gets hacked,we could consider it to be a difficult issue.
With lightning system destined to be activated,all the exchange issues would get illuminated.
