Many people are starting to have attention on Bitcoin, and they realize the power of blockchain, the ease of use of a trustless system. I believe the ease of use of buying Bitcoin also help bitcoin to growth this high, many newcomers mainly newbie traders just don't realize they buy Bitcoin at this high.

Guys I'm wondering why BTC is moving this fast to up? With logic there should be a huge amount of money flew into BTC market but I don't see any reason to make this happen. Is there any economic reasons about this massive flying to up? What are your opinions about this happenings?  which makes bitcoin very expensive is bitcoin is in great demand for everyone and because getting bitcoin is very very difficult, the higher the bitcoin demand the higher the bitcoin price. |

And also there is a CME effect and I guess this is also with the so called McAfee effect that I've seen on facebook. McAfee was interviewed by someone over the facebook live video call and he said that bitcoin will be going at $20,000 early this upcoming January 2018 so everyone is trying to buy now and it helped a lot. Yeah I know. I was watching that video too. He said something about Monero too and after that Monero also moved. But Mcafee couldnt make this much alone. He said BTC 1m in 2020 Not affected.  |

I agree with bitcoin, however, I doubt that they invested on because of blockchain technology. Bitcoin now is purely investment. Specially when all this financial institution came into picture. Although is has really driven this price spike in the last couple of days, we don't know what's it effect on the ecosystem once this kind of bitcoin future derivatives is offered. Maybe in couple of days when CBOE and CME started another milestone in bitcoin history by offering it. As far as newbies, yes, I agree, they are willing to buy bitcoin at top price, it doesn't make sense to me, maybe they are irrational in thinking that they can get a quick profit. But let's see how it goes, the positive sentiments are still around us. But I wouldn't buy bitcoin at today's rate, it too expensive for me. |

The scary part is when will this huge holder dumps the coin. There are also microearners that is starting to realize that bitcoin is a good investment when it already hike up to the moon. Plus there are a lot of ICO that depends on bitcoin and there are massive trading of this coin resulting in an even more increase in bitcoin value. |

Bitcoin moves fast in the price because right now many institutions investors, users, traders who has understood about the bitcoin as digital asset, digital currency. Bitcoin is starting mass addoption the total supply of bitcoin is limited and demand of bitcoin is rising, it is mean will makes the bitcoin's price moving up fast too, the bitcoin today has been legalized by some government of countries as currency or comodity and the other reason bitcoin's blockchain is fixed by all of the developers.

I saw on other threads that the 21 million coins of bitcoin have already circulates in our economy. I don't know how this it is authentic. He also said that it is the reason why bitcoin price is growing up but someday it go slowdown. I am searching other articles that proves it and contrast this idea. I just want to share what I've saw and I am not making a hoax.

Indeed because of its massive adaption right now that can make the growth rate increasing so fast.However that is the common reason why bitcoin always go higher because of its massive demand .in my opinion this is normal as the matter of fact we should be happy because this scenario can give us much profit and also to all bitcoin holders who waiting for the right time to sell.

Some of the bitcoin holders hold their bitcoins until the next fork coming and the demand of bitcoin become bigger and bigger than before, it makes the bitcoin price increase so high until now. To be honest $15,000 Is really big for a price of a coin, what I am afraid is someday there will be a big correction. |

CME will follow the day after, and Nasdaq will chime in on Q2 2018. Institutional money is coming in, that surely the main drive for BTC recent rally. Besides that, a lot of development in the technical side is happening. A team recently has successfully implementing Lightning Network on the Bitcoin mainnet. That's huge. All these things make me even bullish for 2018. I think it'll even better than 2017. Let's see how far BTC could go |

I think it depends on the number of people who have grown interested on bitcoin. Truth be told, bitcoin is becoming more popular than ever, gaining reputation as its value increases over time. People are now becoming aware of its existence thus they participate in buying bitcoins and i think this is the reason why its evolving in a faster pace.. because people are now reluctant to sell their bitcoins.. storing them in their wallets.. because of this the circulation of bitcoins through the net is put on a halt as its supply decreases.. growing more in demand.

Bitcoin moves this fast because Bitcoin itself reveals its own success. Many people admit or proclaim themselves as a millionaire or billionaire by trading, investing and joining signature campaign/airdrops. Bitcoin gives us also a higher demand or rate in crypto world. So, the higher its rate the more CIO 's use it.

Those people who keep on buying bitcoin are the most sagacious ones and there are the ones which have made the largest profits with bitcoin because of holding largest number of bitcoin. I sometimes regret for getting into bitcoin late but now I don’t even miss a single chance of buying bitcoin at cheap rates. Bitcoin has simply increased in prices tremendously in last few months and there re maximum chances of continuing this trend. |

Price increase do really always increase because theres a high demand of it which this is only a simple economic subject. We are really shocked on what is happening as of now where millions of money being poured now on bitcoin alone. |

I´m not too sanguine about the timeline of the Lightning network. There were claims that it was about to be publicly launched already in 2015. This was 2 years ago and they still haven´t released it. Sure, there have been a few successful tests and the clients look better these days, but I´m still pessimistic about the timeline. It will eventually launch, but there is always the possibility of unexpected issues and bugs. Given the fact that the developers are taking security very seriously it is unlikely that we will see the launch of Lightning network in 2018. Let´s hope that I´m wrong and everything works out faster than I expect. |

There is a demand and no big holder is doing any price manipulation (what most people happen to think right now).
The main and the biggest demand is coming from banking sector. These multinational banks are trying to collect bitcoin not for the purpose of manipulating the price or grabbing the market but for being in the run of fuure. Cryptocurrencies are no doubt a future of monetary landscape. Whether it is bitcoin or not that is highly uncertain. But the main player of crypto world is bitcoin and right now holding it won't hurt. There is some legit increase in demand in last three months due to increase in awareness whether it is for China, ransomware, Russia, Japan.

In elementary economics, we were taught that two basic things determine the price of a commodity. These are scarcity and demand. The mere 21million units of bitcoin makes it such a rare coin when compared to the total world population that is in billions and given btc usage. Bitcoin crashes and ceases to exist the moment there is an inclusion of a single unit to the already existing 21million. Its scarcity drives the price high.

Probably the newcomers who invested in BTC and continuing to do so. The demand is increasing and so the price as well. The news is covering about it daily nowadays and thus promoting in a huge scale bringing in daily new investors. The rate of growth is going to be even more in upcoming months.
