I think why Bitcoin moves so fast,because of the increasing use of Bitcoin and the rising demand for Bitcoin but it can not be met at a fast pace so the price of Bitcoin will move very quickly become higher.

The main reason is the high price of the bitcoin and its high raising rate in the market, due to which a high number of the investor taking interest in bitcoin and making their investment in the bitcoin. the high rate of the investment make it to move fast. again when the rate of the bitcoin is raised the interest of the investor is raising. The high security is also a key feature of bitcoin that make it trusty due to which people make their invest in the bitcoin and thus the value of the bitcoin move fast.

The more people trust in bitcoin, there will be more transactions with cryptocurrency so the normal market reaction is the increase of the value.

There is a lot of media attention because of the earlier price movements, which cause a lot of new people to flock to Bitcoin. Also there's the introduction of bitcoin futures which gives us more opportunities to play around with, instead of just buying the underlying asset at time 0. Christmas festivities has no impact on the value of bitcoins at all, the only thing that makes bitcoins goes fast is due to the fact that more and more people are patronizing bitcoins now more than ever and they are going to increase as time goes on.

I also know that rules because me too graduated  from economical university. But demand can't change that much without any news. Bitcoins demand made his price that much. But after dipping  till 5800$ it flyed to 16-17k$ without any big news and without any serious correction. IMO economically it should been moving by time, not that fast.

Well that's what is asked, the question 'what makes Bitcoin move this fast' means, how can Bitcoin reach very high price in a very short time? So having a high value is not the main reason as you think it was.

But its true that when the value of Bitcoin increases so does the demand, that's pretty much the basic laws in economics, it applies even if it is a decentralized currency.

Maybe right now we are just experiencing some correction that is why the price is hovering in the $13,000 level but I still expect for the price to go beyond $18,000 before the year ends.

Yes, It is just another correction, nothing else. Bitcoin is just getting ready for its next target which is not 18,000 dollars rather 20,000 dollars. I am pretty sure that this coin is going to reach this value by the end of December easily. I think there is no issues in waiting for bitcoin to recover its previous value. This is nothing new for the bitcoin investors to have some light dump before a drastic pump.

It is really getting ready for its next target. In fact, I thought we should be heading to the moon considering breaking resistance yesterday only to get to see a fake top early this morning. Really looking out though for double top as that would really not speak well. I hope we head back to testing the previous top soon though otherwise, it may end up being a journey to support. Bitcoin is really getting more popular than we can imagine and with most of the developments that are coming now regarding mainstream levels, I sure believe that would give it even much more recognition, so we are not even fast enough yet.

The funniest part is that it is not even hot yet. There's definitely no economic reason here, since this is a decentralized currency.

There are different reasons why Bitcoin reached such a price right now, and I could only say few since that's pretty much all the reasons I know.

First, is when we talked about investment we're not just talking about 1 ~ 5 Bitcoin here, we are talking about a large amount of it. And who could possibly afford that you say? Its the whales, they're constantly investing their Fiat in Bitcoin as they already know that Bitcoin is the most valuable exchange now in the market. And investing to it would probably make them even more rich, as the demand goes up so does the price (it may sound like economics, but trust me its not).

Probably the second and the last thing, its because of those so called Holders (term for the people who've been holding a specific coin for a long time). This is the time they are going to release that large amount of theirs to gain profit for waiting that very long.

Bitcoin has many properties due to which it is developing very fast and its price is also increasing with the speed of light. It is very hard to say that which property is the best in bitcoin because it has too many properties but the main factor in the rising price of bitcoin is its price because many new people demand for bitcoin daily and thus its importance is also increasing, which lead to the increase in the price of bitcoin.
