I would recommend 50% Bitcoins and 30% Altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin and 20% for ICO projects.

I think if I were you I'll gonna buy some bitcoin not much big amount but can make a great return I'll gonna buy it then keep holding or invest it to my trusted campaign that I want to join.

Wait for $200 to buy Bitcoin and $30 to buy ETH. Bitcoin is in a dumping frenzy now, yesterday it reached $19000 but now is at $15.600. not even begging would fix the price now. if price didn't go lower $15000 by the end of today, I'd suggest to buy. When a strong buy bitcoin bitcoin, sideways when buying copycat coins. This is true.
What is your suggestion? jumping sideways or buying copycat coins? |

I guess it will depend on your investment capital but i suggest you diversify and buy both. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the largest currencies by market cap and you should have no problem with those investments especially if you are looking at long term projections. That being said, Ethereum is more undervalued right now so it may potentiall give you larger gains. Do your research and read more about each of the coins then invest in what you believe will succeed more. |

Investing BTC or ETH is always at risk. As of now bitcoin has keep on arising and the best thing to buy bitcoin when the value getting lower. Then hold It. When the value will keep on arise, you have a great profit of it. But still the decision is always at yours. No one can decide exept yourself only.

I would invest in Bitcoin rather than Ethereum, because in my opinion Bitcoin does have more potential for mass-adaption than Ethereum does. Basically because Ethereum's smart-contracts are too complicated to understand for regular non-tech-savvy people, Bitcoin on the other hand is just a matter of sending funds to the right address. Bitcoin also has the advantage that it was the first crypto-currency ever created, Ethereum is only around for less then 2 years. But it can't hurt to invest in both, for example 80% Bitcoin and 20% Ethereum.

Tell us your reasoning between the two. If you are asking statically you probably dont have a good idea of either and are only selecting them due to the market cap. I personally have held ethereum longer and believe in its technology.

Ethereum lost crazy amount of value against bitcoin. The winner is bitcoin absolutely. But ethereum will gain momentum next year, keep in mind. Remember ETH/BTC was 0.1 or above this level, now it's below 0.03, this is a big decrease. |
