Pools need to upgrade into latest version and then restast. After restating no need to restart again. In new version the file netdb-white.txt is automatically read from disk time by time.

How to start own pool?
Have dedicated server for it.
PM please.

Dev,

First of all, congrats and thanks for all your efforts - really great project !!

I was mining against the 45.63.58.16:13654 pool and noticed something quite strange. Looking at the cheatcoin.log file, I can see I got a payment:
Xfer  : from AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA to <MyAddress> xfer 14.704380580 CHEATCOIN

Guess that is the mining reward. But a couple of minutes later there is an outgoing Xfer:
Xfer  : from <MyAddress> to AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA xfer 14.704380580 CHEATCOIN

What's wrong here and why are my XDAGs sent back after I legitimately got them from the pool?

Thanks!

Which one as the first one?

Also, what does everyone think of this look? I asked people to provide words that they feel they want to represent DAGGER, and this is what I came up with from those words:

https://imgur.com/zvxl66l
Second version where G's aren't throwing people off: https://imgur.com/zvxl66l

words:
Friendly
Inviting
Human
Engaging
Connected

I feel like it's a bit more approachable than the black orb, which I do like, but maybe not for this project. For this project, I'm going more for 'inclusion' and adoption. I want people to look at our name and go go 'damn that's legit' lol.

Trust is one of the most important aspects of this space, and I think the second one really communicates 'I can trust this project to participate'

You can mine it on every device with Windows or Linux. The question is only your performance.

Hi, I am new to this project and the DAG based crypto in general.

In the whitepaper, I read

Ideas

Each block contains exactly one transaction. At the same time, the block is an address. Among all transactions, the main chain is allocated - it is a chain with the maximum difficulty. In the main chain, new coins are created about once a minute.

Can someone can explain to me how this "main chain" of DAG network is determined, and the mechanism of coin generation. Is this done completely through algorithm, or manually selected by human operators - something similar to the witness nodes of byteballs? thanks.

I want to start a new pool in Slovakia. How to go about that, pool list is based on consensus, so pools are not working without every other pool updating their whitelist. Who should I contact?

https://xdag.org - reliable World-Wide XDAG mining pool with automatic failover and extra mining rewards!
