How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Well, don't put all of your money in trading, there's no count of amount need as long you have enough fund for it. If ever you've lost your money you have another to get out in you pocket. Because in trading there's always risk, to avoid this be wise in picking up altcoins that you trade for or else it can be loss you're fund. Instead of trading why not you should try to invest bitcoin less risk and most trusted coin and more profitable among of all crypto currency.

There is no ideal number. My favorite advice is always this: Invest an amount that wouldn't hurt you financially even if you lost all of it. Although we all hope for the best and want to make profit, the crypto environment (especially the altcoin environment) is highly volatile and you never know what might happen tomorrow.

Well said!

you can start like 50$ or less but it is up to you because every each of my friend told me risk only that you can lose easily but regain easily to by on the short time only . so if you can lose it easily you can get those profits easily too

there are no ideal number when you are buying altcoin because there are some altcoin that are very cheap those  day you can get that and hold it for a while and wait for it to go boom and when that time comes you can sell it

Anyone can't say Ideal amount, If you are new to space its better to start with 100$ and get used to charts and TA + FA (TA - technical analysis , FA - fundamental analysis).
and after a month or two Strat with amount that can make you profits, 2000$ or more is better for me.
Leave some profits for long term you will get massive 50x 60x returns in 6months to 1 year period for some good coins.

That's my strategy.
If anyone have a better option please comment.

according to my experiance you dont have to have lot of money/capital to to start cryptocurrency.i started it with usd 100$.i bought some bit coins for usd 100.if you can sped much more its good.but if you dont have much money forget about the value and start to do some bounties and airdrops.select some huge projects and do start bounty campaigns.apply each and every airdrops with out selecting.yuu can join few airdrop alert telegrame groups and can appl to them as soon as possible by using your phone.majority of coins you received may be shit coins,.but there may be one or two good coins too.i recently earned usd 940 by selling 2 air drooped coins.then you better invest that money on some good icos.if you applied with in presale you can get a bonus and definetly you can multiply your capital with in 3-4 months.i followed above method and now im a owner of 10 ethers after 6months of starting of my crypto carrier. now my 100usd investment climbed up to 7000usd.(today 1 ether =700 usd)
i think this will be help full to peopel who is having less capital to  start crypto

an ideal number would be the sum you can afford to lose! you can start earning with any number, but don't forget it's a risky business. don't invest more then you have to lose, that's my advice.

There is no specific amount on how much money you need to invest in altcoins. If you are new in trading, i suggest you to read some forums in here and do your own research before investing the altcoin you really like. And you may be invest not that much so if ever something bad happens on your altcoin it will not hurt you a lot.

as most have said there is no ideal amount. just make sure it's an amount you can afford and one that won't affect you too much. i would advise to look into getting involved with Bounties and also when investing don't put everything into one pot!

First you start with $100 and think that you are gambling. All money may be gone in understanding the trading and market trends. after one month you may invest more $s.

You can start with whatever amount you have, there's no ideal number, the only difference is the profit / loss with every trade you do. Invest the amount you can afford to lose, personally i start with around $3500 because i have background in Stock trading and i can afford to lose that much incase my trade goes wrong. You should start with lower amount if you are new to trading.

For me much better you start at small amount of capital because i know at a newbie stage we do not know how to earn good profit specially in trading and investing that is why with small amount of capital you can try and learn the proper way to earn money here in crypto currency.

And do not ever invest huge amount of money if you do not afford to lose, we are at risky investment it is pure online we do not hold anything here that is why the risk we have is too high.

In trading, there is no ideal number needed. If you are really into trading, you don't need to think of how much money you are going to trade, you just need your right mind, so you can profit on what you're doing.

I'd say the best way to learn would be to try it yourself and 'lose' some trades. That being said, the amount of money you are willing to trade as a newbie should be a tiny portion of how much you earn; perhaps between 5-10% depends on your risk tolerance.
