How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

When the time i start trading i invested a 50$ for learning purpose this value is a good start but think the other factor like the fees or what site do you want to start trading there are exchange site that has a small fee but lots of them will kill you in a high fee i suggest to you that find a exchange site that fits for you and has a small starting amount for you to learn.

There is no exact figure that can fit of how do you start.IT is a aquestion of how much you are willing to take the risk to invest. Investment can start up from the smallest point of figure. the important thing is it is a good investment and it is secure and can return your money up fromzero to a hundred percent.

you can practically start at any amount you want, there is no minimum or maximum amount in buying altcoins, unlike the traditional trading wherein there are boardlots you need to meet before you can buy shares. My advise is if you are a begginer and just would like to test or try buying some altcoins start with an amount that you are comfortable loosing. i am not saying that you will loose your money when you buy altcoins but buying coins is a high risk especially that the market is highly volatile, it can make you or break you. invest in small amounts until you get the feel and confidence. Once you are confident enough now you can invest big but be sure to stay on budget, avoid making debts just to invest i would recommend to us your hard earned money in investing. You should also start researching first historical data of the coin you want to invest in if it has some potential to earn you money, researching before buying will go a long way.

Like what other said in here, theres no fix amount that you can use to stat trading.
It is depend upon on you, i suggest you start first at low value, the earnings are not that big, but the main purpose is to just acquire experience in trading.
Then after that try now the higher amount, this time you have now some experience and the percentage of getting big profit is now high.
Just always be smart, think before you decide. So that there are no rooms for regrets.

The amount you can afford lose. But try and buy ico with it and wait for sometime to sell and buy another good ico, by time you will realised what you are doing. You have made alot of profit. You can do bounty and raise money, instead of risiijg your small money.

I think this depends on how rich you are and how you think about this market, it is a gambling game for newbies since they do not do much research at first.

I think the ideal figure is the number within your ability. At the beginning or to be cautious, after all, too much risk.

That's the best thing about crypto that we don't need any minimum amount. We can start trading with as cheap as $10. Although the initial investment decides how much profit we are going to make. You can't expect to get $1000 by investing $10 in a short time. I would recommend you to invest atleast $100-$500 to get a substantial amount of profit while trading different coins. Keep in mind that trading crypto is risky and any amount invested could result in $100% loss.

I agree with your view, the beginning or to gradually accumulate experience, do not be too impatient.

It doesn't matter with how much you start, things that matter is your dedication towards it. Still there is a great scope in cryptocurrency, you can make a lot even if you input a small amount.

Just start even if it's a small amount just to familiarize yourself in the market. They said that if you trade with a big amount of money you could gain higher profit or loss. But the best is to start with the amount you can afford to lose.

Start with what you have and split your investment in to two or more coins. Have given list of altcoins for your reference. Research on these and decide on your own. However, bitcoin should be your first preference.

Altcoins potential list as per price

Below $1400 and above $1000
Ethereum or Dash

Below $450
Monero or Bitcoin Gold

Below $10
Steem or Komodo

Below $3
Ripple

Below $1
Cardano, Stellar and Dogecoin

Begin a lot of what you have. and remember the main rule when trading and investing in crypto-currencies: invest as much money as you are not afraid to lose. So it will be easier for you to start trading psychologically.

I think a sufficient amount is 1000 dollars. If you start with a larger amount, it's only better. But there are people who start and with $ 50 and slowly add more.

I think it does not matter from which budget you start, the main thing is to be ready and begin to understand the crypto-currency market. In the process, you will understand how much you need to invest.

It all depends on you and on how much you can afford to lose, but for me $100-500 is enough for you start your career in alt coins. Just split it into 5 or more coins and focus not only on one coin, in this way you have many options like when one coin dump you have other coins that might be rise. But first you must know which coins you will buy and hold, read on threads here what coins have a good feedback and potential. By doing this there is a higher chance for you to succeed and earn a lot of money.

I think $1000 is a good starting block, with this i'd recommend diversifying and buying into a few different coins that way you can spread your risk. Remember though, this isn't a get rich quick scheme, only invest in what you can afford to lose.
