So why is a rollback necessary, and why wasn't this communicated earlier.  Instead you (dev) kept saying it was just a wallet issue with the exchanges.

Can we have some additional information?  Were coins stolen, and if so where were they stolen from?  How many are we talking about?

Like you said..  But still, I think the SMART will be huge in 2018
They spoiled me with the smartrewards, so I want more Cheesy

smartrewards and smartnodes are a good incentive. But right now we have a hack, a blockchain rollback and a pretty bad communication about this issue. pretty sure price will fall right after the issue is solved and the exchanges will open up their wallets again.

But lets see, mby it can recover fast, i hope so, also holding good amount of SMART...

When I can read officail statement about blockchain rollback?

Thank you

HitBTC Update : We recently asked HitBTC about the the status of the SmartCash wallet upgrade to ver1.1 and reminded them that many users have their fund stuck for the past 2 weeks i.e 14 days precisely. HitBTC has shared a quick update stating that their specialists are looking into the same.

"Thank you for your email. Our specialists will look into it ASAP. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Warm regards,
Victoria Grimm

Ah...I found the information I was seeking with a bit of digging.  Would have been nice if SMART shared this info early on instead of all of us wondering why our funds were locked on these different exchanges.  Kind of shitty if you ask me.  But if you don't know, here's the info.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2797921.0

Edit: I still do like this project and I do see a lot of potential.  And I'm sure in time all will be forgotten, since crypto is so near-minded.  But to me, this will always be a black mark against this currency.

Oh mate I think you didn't backread far enough the dev actually posted that in this thread, he informed everyone that there has been a zerocoin exploit that really affected the smartcash network that's why he requested the exchanges to pause their wallet and to stop this coin from being traded in order to prevent fake coins from circulating and getting into the wallets of smartcash users. The dev has been very transparent from the start, he informed everyone about the exploit and once the issues has been resolves, he announced on here that there has been a wallet update to make sure that users are only receiving the real coins and not the fake ones, and then he requested the exchanges to also update their wallets so that trading can finally resume but unfortunately exchanges are taking so much time to resume trading and now it's really affecting the devs reputation and also this project's legitimacy, which is not the dev's fault in any way.

That is probably the issue then.  I mean if he made it known as soon as he knew about it then good.  That's the way it should have been handled.  However, that being said, he should have posted the information on the first page of this ANN thread.  Most people don't sift through the pages and pages of BS on the subsequent following pages.

I can't believe that smartcashvietnam is still screaming that Cryptopia is not delisting Smartcash, and then pointing us to a link where Cryptopia say they are delisting Smartcash - go figure ?

Cryptopia don't use the word 'delisting' but it's just semantics, this is what they say:

"Cryptopia has suspended trading for this currency and will be closing the SmartCash markets. For all those users who have a balance of SmartCash, we advise you to withdraw your funds the latest SmartCash wallet" (sic)

Cryptopia doesn't like admitting it delists coins that had high listing fees, so it often uses veiled language to announce a delisting.

Coinexchange.io also will not allow coins to be withdrawn. I realize some of the blame may lie with the exchanges but the development and marketing arms of SmartCash need to be working around the clock in order to put a halt to this nonsense. The poor roll out of SmartCash makes it hard for new people to consider investing in this coin when other coins can execute much better.

Yeah that's really the issue mate, and he did made it known to the public as soon as it happened, he was very open to the community regarding the problems that smartcash was facing. You do have a point here, I think that's one thing the dev missed during everything that has happened, he should've posted this matter on the first page, you're right not everyone have the time to backread all these pages, I think because of what happened he was so overwhelmed with the exploit that he didn't thought about adding this information in the first page. The dev should add this information right now though so that everyone will be informed on what's happening and why exchanges are still not allowing this coin to be traded on their platforms. This will most likely help people disregard the scam accusations that this project is currently facing.

Cryptopia will refund all missing transaction first, after that they will allow people to withdraw

So am I reading into this too much?  Does it mean that Cryptopia is in fact delisting SMART?  Or are you just stating that they are refunding before they open the market back up to trading/deposits/withdrawals?

Hope someone has some ideas...

I want to support this project by getting SmartRewards. But while the US Pool was down, 512 of my tokens did not make it to my wallet.  The address is correct. I have gotten other deposits from the pool with the same address.

I have sent the Dev a private messages and laid it all out for them.   I need this resolved before the 25th.

I can't insert any images because I am Newbie!!!

Hi Guys, I am trying to bring more attention to Smartcash and mining Smartcash to bring more people into the space.     If you have a second to watch and like and share, it could help to get more people involved in this project!    I know I'm not that great and making vids, but just trying to help out any way I can.
